I linked my husband to this one because, you know, it's awesome, and the first thing he says back to me is 'think he'd let us 3d print it?' lol. He's been wanting me to make some sort of epic statuette for him to print (we have a 3d printer) for a while now, but it's generally not my forte. This, would make a decidedly epic thing to sit on a desk. Just saying
Any chance you'd ever feel inclined to share or even sell, a copy of the file so long as I promise not to redistribute it in any way? I totally understand if the answer is no, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

It was my plan to print him at 12" and cast him in bronze...but I left that employer for an amazing teaching job. Can you guys create molds and cast with various metals? The .stl file is already made.

I've never attempted any casting things yet, although I did just this last weekend get a few things necessary to do clear resin casting. Definitely not setup for casting with metals though. And unfortunately, my machine is a home machine (one of these: [link] ) and the maximum print size is 8.9 x 5.7 x 5.9 inches. Anything larger than that has to be printed in pieces and secured together somehow.
I'd still totally take a crack at printing this bust as large as the machine can handle. It can get good detail, even on tiny things. ex: [link] <- and that thing was pretty small. Only a couple inches tall.
If you've already got one printed, you might not be interested, but if you were willing to share the file, I'd totally be willing to print the bust and send it to you.

Thanks for writing back. I would be very interested in getting Vegeta printed. Would you be able to take a timelapse video like this one [link] for me of it being printed? I thought that was a GREAT way to present a 3d model.
If you could provide me with the model and the video time-lapse in hd, I would have no problem sending over the hollowed out .stl file for you guys to print.

did you use anything for the base mesh or is it all in zbrush? im just asking because the armor looks like it would be hard to do in zbrush alone.

the face and hair was started with zspheres. armor and eyes were made in max.
