oooh also buddy, im in an animation class and we are making graphic novels. There is a thing all comic artist must follow called the 180 degree rule. It states that where a character is in the beginning of the comic, they shall stay on that same side of the panel in every panel. I thinkies youre dragon just broke that rule X3 although you see that hes on a tree and flying from it, you may want to flip that flying panel to face the opposite direction to show fluid movement into the next panel with him landing next to the chicken. Then you can see what direction he was going clearly ^^

Which font do you mean? The "whoosh" was done with gray text w/ white outline and the blending mode turned to "color dodge". You can do fun bendy things using an option on the toolbar of the text edit tool. It's quite fun to use.
