I used ZBrush for digital sculpting, Softimage XSI for the 3D model, Autodesk Maya for posing and Photoshop for texturing.

There aren't many free 3D softwares out there. You can try Blender for modeling and Sculptris for sculpting.

Thanks! You should check 3DTotal website. They have some tutorials on modeling. Sorry for the slow response.

heh well i do mean it. what makes this one stand out from all the other entries imo is the colors. From what i see, its mostly molten looking creatures/demons, you know the whole red yellow orange, yours is nice cool colors

I was gonna do another red, yellow and orange demon but I thought it wouldn't work with the team color palettes, gold and black (personally, I find it tricky to texture your character with that color scheme). But I had some inputs about the color from people on the forum Game Artisans so I'm pretty grateful for that. Anyway, thanks again for the nice comment .

P.S. Did you enter DW 4 this year?

nah havent entered. heck im still coming out of this huge art slump ive been in for over a year ive got some new pics ill be posting soon though! perhaps one day ill enter some of these contests.
