Description
This is my first foray into photomanipulation. It was tough and fun and exasperating all at the same time. In other words, I'm already planning my next image! : )This image is not for sale nor is it for download. I used many different pieces to create this image:
- Girl stock image by ~blacksockstock
- Planet Background by *IWS-stock
- Smoke Brush by ~Falln-Brushes
- Red Rock Canyon by *rifka1

I'm impressed with the deep color saturation that you chose to use. I am also glad to see that you didn't simply take a stock photo, add a piece from another stock photo and call it your own.

My boyfriend does photomanipulations . He was very impressed with your work. He complimented you on your color usge, said your shading was great, and that you didn't do a cut and staple with the stock photos. He did add in that he could see your brush strokes in the smoke "ribbons" (although I can't). I'm not certain if this is something that could use improvement or rather just something he notices since he's in the "trade".

I think I see what he's talking about (the smoke ribbon down by her chest doesn't quite reach). One of a couple things I need to improve upon in this image!

Awesome job for a first manip! You should see what a choppy mess my first was. X_x
But everything is nice and smooth, and I love the colors. The only thing I would say is make the shading behind her a bit stronger because of how bright the fire is. Nice work, though, especially for a first.

It is very nice
the only thing I would try to fix is her shadow, when you work with fire it naturally makes strong shadows
other then that very good

Wow. Very beautiful work... I would make the area between her feet a little darker though... maybe I'm wrong.

Hi! Thanks so much...I looked at your site and "favorited" the Manon in Wonderland. Beautiful use of brushes, color and photo! And the dress is great as someone who made a costume *once* and decided it wasn't for her.
I'll try upping the darkness between her feet a bit and see if that helps. Thanks for the feedback!
