In the first book she is described as being three feet tall, one inch below fairy average. I would say that if Butler is about six feet tall, the representation of Holly is pretty accurate.

usually people prefer Artemis to be hot, but I have to say I love your representation of him. Looks every bit of a mastermind and fiendish plotter. Only he sure doesn't look 13. LOL Are these based on the cartoon version as well? Was Holly supposed to have short hair in the book, I forgot..

Butler looks like Lex Luthor...I just remembered he has got no hairs. Because the guy who reads the Harry Potter Audio Books here in Germany also reads the Artemis Fowl ones, I always thought of Butler to look more like Hagrid (They have the voice)

I never thought Commander Root to be so...fat. I don't know, maybe a little less belly? Hm. Artemis looks funny, but Butler is dead on in my opinion. So is Mulch. I've always thought Juliet as more lean muscle, and Holly the same. Foaly is perfect.

I know this is an old post but Ive just read the Opal Deception and searched for fan art.
I agree that arty should be a bit more good looking but love it all EXCEPT mulch diggums. Before reading this book I hadnt realised that he had hair all over his body. Theres a desciption when he first 're-meets' Butler at Fowl Manor that says that his eyes and teeth where visible through the black curly hair - like he was a monkey or something. I like your image of him more that the one cunjoured up in the latest book
