The title made me laugh out loud.

The rescue made me happy. And the shot is so interesting! I love how his head is tilted, eye staring right at the camera, and I love how we still see a small portion of his back and tail. Really great composition!

Everybody I've ever had was rescued. Two dogs, 3 cats and a rabbit.

Aww, that's awesome! We don't have any animals right now. But I definitely would go other-place than a pet store if I ever got another pet. (Probably not a chicken though. )

Yeah, I only have one dog right now (Jack, as seen in my overly large amount of photos of him) because the others have passed away over my lifetime. I've fostered a few too. I'm putting in an application to work at a no-kill animal shelter, so it's going to be nearly impossible to not bring a few home with me.
