Yupp...crackin' out all the Halloween pictures lmaooo XDD actually I might be turning this girl into my Soul Eater character. I already had one but she was actually a villain for this fanfic I want to write, but this one is a witch and is actually a good one. I know I'm pretty sure it's over used but I don't really care XD I really like her design and I have the perfect plot in my head for her askdjasdI don't know I'll think about it XDD Anyway this is just a quick drawing I did..took a couple hours but I'm pretty happy with the results. Aaaaww love how her innocent charcterization is wholly brought out (esp. with soft compacted pose & hold of smiling pumpkin. Her gentle smile), also that spider with its sinister expression helps add a mysterious feel.
How you rendered her full wave of hair to distinguish the blacks of her outfit from the background reflect a technical sense of formwork & layout, keeping the dark aspects of Halloween & world of witches while preventing the character & positive touches from being too swallowed within. Lastly striped socks & the fanged Spawn skull kneecaps are pure win, making this a special rendition of the witch trope as opposed to putting on a stock Halloween costume. Love it!
