I just had an urge to draw my favorite action hero on an adventure...this time he is in Egypt and found the key to the Egyptian Underworld...Prismacolor Pencils, Pens and Markers on smooth bristol 9" x 12"
Approx time start to finish: 10-12 hours

passports, awesome locations, temples, powerful trinkets, ATMOSPHERE
action scenes meant for an adventure movie, puzzles to solve,
maps with an x that marks the spot, and we gotta have a library in there too.

Except lady bugs and butterflies...that would be a movie killer. Have Lara Croft running out of a tomb, screaming at the top of her lungs with horror as lady bugs chase her and a swarm of butterflies are following her...HAHAHAHA!!!!

He was awesome in Dracula dead and loving it. thats got to be my
favorite spoof movie ever.
I can seeΒ him raiding a tomb in our story and everything going wrong also
he gets distracted by provocative reliefs on the tomb wallsΒ "tomb porn"

I agree with Forty-Fathoms; this really looks torchlit, although I think the story must be set in the 1920s. Indy is older than in the Chronicles (or the prelude of Last Crusade) but not old enough for Raiders (first film so Harrison was youngest) or Temple of Doom (set earlier than Raiders).

Well, to be honest....I just made up the idea without putting much thought into it...I just wanted to draw Indy interacting with an artifact that wasn't already in the movies. Was the idea of the Key of the Underworld already done in a story? If so I had no idea.

I can't place such a story; I was just commenting that you've made Indy look older than River Pheonix and Sean Patrick Flannerty in the 1910s set stuff, but younger than Harrison Ford in the films which makes me think the your picture should be set in the 1920s.
