Bleach OC Profile: Niara Sakamoto,Name: Niara SakamotoNickname(s): The Angel Age: 160 Birthday: June 26th Race: ShinigamiHeight: 5’ 10” Weight: 128lbs Handedness: Ambidextrous Family: Kiara Sakamoto (Twin Sister) Occupation: Co-Captain of Squad Nine Appearance Niara looks much like her sister Kiara despite their different outfits and hair color. Niara died her hair black so as people could tell them apart; though her eyes, height, and build are the same as her sister. The only other physical difference is that Niara has a slightly larger chest than her older twin (cup size is C). Niara wears the default outfit though it is slightly modified a bit; her kisode (shirt) is sleeveless and it shows off a bit of her chest, and her hakamas (pants) have more of a tight fit to them. Personality Unlike her twin sister, Niara is stricter and is not as carefree as Kiara. She firmly believes in strong discipline and setting examples. This is the main reason Yamamoto chose for the twins to be Co-Captains: Niara can be too strict and Kiara can be too carefree. Though she is not afraid to show skin like her sister, she does not believe in “flaunting” it, as what she thinks her sister does. But despite their differences Kiara and Niara still love each other. Niara is not afraid to fight at full strength and sometimes overdoes it when to comes to using her Zanpakuto.Likes: Sparring, drinking tea, hot springs, PaperworkDislikes: Alcohol, Falling behind with work History Niara and her identical twin sister Kiara were born inside the Seireitei, Kiara the older of the two by a few minutes. Both of their parents were well accomplished Shinigami in the Gotei 13; Their Father the third seat of Squad One and their mother the fourth seat. However, giving birth to the twins was too much for their mother and she died a few days after giving birth to them. Their father, as grief stricken as he was, did his best to raise his two new daughters, getting help whenever he could. Then a few years later he died as well, dying in combat while fighting an alpha hollow. They decided to follow in their parent's footsteps, and when they were old enough, they entered the Shino Academy. When they graduated the two sisters were separated; Kiara to Squad Nine, Niara to Squad Eleven. Niara had also already learned at least learned her Shikai; as she did her best to try and fill the shoes of their parents. During The Quincy Betrayal, both twins had already graduated from The Academy but were separated from each other. Niara was lucky enough to be with her Squad at the time; and since Squad 11 is more combat based…they had the lowest number of casualties during the attack; working with her squad mates; including her Captain and Lieutenant. Daichi had kept an eye on her during this; and knew she could have been more than capable to become a Captain. When Kiara was being held in the Maggot's Nest Niara trained herself almost nonstop. Some people looked down on her a bit because of what her sister did but it did not deter Niara. She also got some help from fellow squad mates whom felt a little sorry for Niara; even Daichi and Isamu…who knew When Kiara was finally released from the Maggot's Nest Niara was transferred over to Squad Nine to help her sister. Though there were still people who distrusted the twins the Captain-Commander himself had told everyone that it was to be forgotten. The sisters were almost an almost unstoppable force working together; and after The Quincy Betrayal both of them were recommend to be Captains. Eventually they picked Niara to fill the position for Squad 9; leaving Kiara with the possibility of either being her sister’s Lieutenant or joining Squad 1. However, Niara felt somewhat bad for taking the position when her sister deserved to be a Captain as well. So, she approached the Captain-Commander and asked for both her and Kiara to be Captains for Squad 9; Niara thinking their distinctive personalities would work great to lead the Squad. Akio was a bit skeptic of it at first, but agreed to at least try it out. When he saw at how well the sisters worked together, he named them the Soul Society's first ever Co-Captains. Zanpakuto Shikai name: Kin no Hime (Golden Princess) Bankai name: Hikarihime (Shining Princess) Summon Action & Word/Phrase: Niara positions her Zanpakuto in one hand, having the blade out, and then grips the dull side of the blade and says, “Bring them to justice.” Inner World: A floating island that has a completely destroyed temple Zanpakuto DescriptionsZanpakuto Spirit: Kin no Hime has long golden hair and completely white eyes, and wears a white and yellow kimono.Dormant state: Niara never really cares which side she has her Zanpakuto on as she is ambidextrous. Her hilt has a spiral in design and is colored yellow and white. The tsuba is circular and white in color, with streaks of yellow circling the blade.Shikai state: Niara’s Shikai state is a staff; which is a few inches taller than her, it is golden in color, and is adorned with sturdy, hard studs that are a white in color. Bankai Activation: To activate her Bankai, Niara rests one of the ends of her Shikai on the ground; keeping it at her side with a hand on it. When she activates it; a pillar of pure light shoots towards the sky and engulfs Niara until the transition is finished.Bankai state: In Bankai her staff changes to a poleaxe. The head of the weapon is a one-sided axe; the other side having a small blade, as well as the top of the axe. Just below the axehead are several yellow ribbons that hang down from it. Finally, there is a small blade at the bottom of the pole. Abilities No name: Niara’s Zanpakuto becomes stronger when she is fighting in direct sunlight, and her Zanpakuto will be surrounded in yellow energy when this happens. Niara also doesn't get blinded by sunlight at all while at least using her Shikai or Bankai. Nissho (Sun Burst): Her Zanpakuto emits a bright light for a short second; briefly blinding her opponent. In Bankai they can be blind for a few seconds longer and the range of it is longer as well.Kosen (Light Beam): When in Shikai either side of the staff opens up and a quick beam of light shoots out from it. In Bankai it is incredibly different; light gathers up and covers the axe head and it is released in a wave of energy; making the attack somewhat slower, but much powerful. Tsuirakushinsei (Crashing Divinity): This is a Bankai only ability. This attack takes a few steps in order for her to do it. Firstly; she needs to hit the ground with the bottom of her Zanpakuto into 5 different places; creating a star like symbol etched into the ground. Once this is finished and her opponent is inside the 'star' a barrier suddenly rises up and traps them inside. Lastly, Niara has to hit the very center of the 'star' and then a sudden beam of light comes crashing down from the sky. Most of the time this is an instant fatality; though it all depends on how much Reiatsu Niara uses to make this attack. The major flaw to this move is that it leaves her incredibly drained after using it.
