Pheeeeww, that took way longer than I expected, haha. Several people were asking me about a colour tutorial, and I soon realised there was WAY too much material to cover... BTW I do mention photoshop at the end but for the rest this applies for any kind of software you wanna use. Anyway, I guess treat this as a kind of introduction to colour theory and how to use it. (I might do more tutorials later on about specifically how to colour skin, rendering etc). Is this even helpful?? i'm starting to doubt myselfanyway as promised here is a brief list of useful colour-related tutorials that I have used in the past, although I don't think i've managed to track them all down:

I've recently admited to myself that it could be in fact useful to keep colour theory in mind while painting digitally (and traditionally, too). Your tutorial sums the most important things up very well and I like your personal examples. Thank you a lot for sharing!
