What do you do on a Sunday after church and you live in a tiny village with only 50 residents? Kick around a football with the local kids and enjoy being a country gal! That's what you do!

So for context this is from a story I'm writing, set in an alternative universe in the 1980s. It takes place in Prussia as in this universe, German nationalism never had a revival and the states never became a Greater Germany. This is Verity in her home town Klein Kosuchen (Kożuchy Małe) before she joins the police and moves to Konigsberg. She's an ethnic Pole living in Prussia and comes from a strong Catholic background.

Looking at a lot of the Polish farmlands miles away from the cities reminded me of my grandpas farm in Zimbabwe back in the day and I got this quaint nostalgic feeling of running around rampant as a kid. That sort of inner child is something I tried to convey in this little picture.
