A Gilgamesh portait whose power is controlling animals mind. And an axe of course (axe effect?). I had great time with this assignment

Is it possible to get a detailed description on how this amazing piece of work was made, by the way? I'm mostly asking this out of curiosity.
As for my actual comments, well, what can I say? It's great. We can CLEARLY see the dominance of the character (I had NO idea he had an axe, that's really interesting), the shading on his armor are just gorgeous, and so's the lion under his foot. Wow. I want this XD

The beard from the older representations meets the golden armor of a very specific newer representation I can think of. The resulting effect is suitably awesome. Nicely done.

To critique more than gush... I kinda wish his hand holding the axe was a bit more 'activated'. It seems a little too casual for this guy.
