I think you get a certain amount of time to view the lessons and critiques (but I think it's several months, so quite a bit of time).

I don't think the self-taught has a schedule, you just watch what you want, and I think as many times as you want. I'm guessing they limit the time people can watch the classes to manage bandwidth, since giving everyone perpetual access could cause some problems if they're watching, (and piracy concerns could be an issue as well).

Your paintings always look like 3D computer graphics to me.

Not that it was difficult to find, but I think more people would check out your class if you provided a link each time you mentioned it.

Wow, thought it was a photo (doesn't have glasses on), until I looked at the tags and A.C.

Hey Sam, i just had to make a few of these imaginary still lifes after seeing this, and noticed the reds and blues mix into grays and not in purples on the big sphere; I use photoshop but i know you use painter so i had to ask, does painter automatically mix them like that, or did you still have to place the purples by hand? Thanks for the inspiration!

Depends on what tools you're using, but usually when you're doing straight-up mixing things trend toward grey. I usually have to add saturation after mixing colors to get it right.

It was more of a question than a joke.
But i appreciate you thinking so high of yourself to insinuate that your preference in humor is statute.

it has nothing to do with 'thinking high of myself', I just wonder what other purposes than a joke would be for asking such a vulgar and primitive question about a digital painting that doesn't resemble genitals at all. but I don't wnat to go deeper into your mind.

How warped must the civilization you live in be to try and decode a negative context out of a simple question? There was no "vulgarity" or "primitiveness" in my inquiry, you simply took it out of context and thought that for yourself.
As i said earlier, you are so self appreciating, so skewed in your own sense of self worth, you took it upon yourself to take a question that was not directed to you and try to weave some invidious deeper meaning into it.
Your kind of people, the one who feel obligated to question things of no relevancy to yourself, and try to make it your business, are the most disheartening. Nary a single point of modesty nor wisdom come from your way ma'am.

you think you can just create a whole picture of my personality based only on a few sentences? wow. you don't know me at all and yet you're doing it. that isn't a good example of modesty, my dear. you're acting the very same way you've just written about.
I no longer wish to continue this nonsensical conversation with you.

All i am able to go with is what you have provided me, "dear". If you had no intent on discussing anything with me, then why did you bother trying to comment?
Oh, wait. I know why. Based on your first impression, you had thought i was uncouth and simple in manner, and you thought you could supersede my being to prove what you thought was my incompetence. But when i challenge your pattern of thinking, you get offended and quickly try to desist from conversing back and forth?
If you decide to meddle with the bull's business, do not be surprised when you get the horns. If you have no intent on arguing your point, do not protrude yourself into matters that do not concern you.

I don't really understand why you two are even arguing. The question was silly, so of course she thought it was a joke. I did too. Either way, it's not worth denigrating someone else over, regardless as to how they react.
