This tradition is originated in Pangasinan from the Interior Area of Pangasinan o kung tawagin ay Luyag ng Caboloan which is now San Carlos City as the origin place. They need your support to save this tradition, this is a Pre-Hispanic tradtion that they wanted to maintain for new generation to see. They need your support to buy the handicraft materials that they are selling so that they will continue. Too many people use plastic wares na kasi and also the influence of Shopping Malls as their competitors and at least you'll help your fellow kababayan to earn for their living.

I know that horses are very strong and powerful, but I can't leave to feel a bit of pity for this one...
Anyway, it's nice, interesting picture, I was looking for one like that.

Yes, we have a lots them, which are used on all sort of services, often degrading ones. Many them are mistreated, without food or water... A real scandal, quite revolting, but our environmental authorities have been trying to fight this.
What struck me in the photo was the extension of the caravan, and their context, natural and picturesque, funny and sad at the same time.

Sa Pangasinan sila galing. I knew because I came from Pangasinan, this is the tradition of Caboloan. this is a Pre-Hispanic tradition of trade and commerce long way back, to maintain this tradition i encourage everyone to support and buy their products to save the culture and tradition of our fellow Kababayan, the culture of the Filipinos. They usually called them 'Viajeros'
