Description So, there's a new forum in town. (catwalk.artzy.org) And we are having an outerwear contest, and here is the example. It's a FUR contest.
Base by me. I really, really, really want this coat. @_@

Also, I realize she bears striking resemblance toΒ MDE: Sweden Β this doll that I did earlier this year in concept & pose. I think this doll is an improvement. 8D

As soon as I saw her in my inboxΒ I thought of your Miss Sweden I like the use of that bold mustard yellow and the contrast with the pinks and browns for her skin and tights. The level of detail around her waist is wonderful as is her flowy hair. I love coats and fur so this contest sounds like a lot of fun.

Gah, that coat is to die for! Well, I wouldn't die for a coat, not really, but if I could get my grubby hands on that one, I'd be a happy camper. I love the way you shaped it, particularly around her waist! The darts and pleats are wonderfully placed, and the fur trim on the collar looks so snuggly warm. I like her ponytail too, it gives her a nice sense of movement, like she's out in the city on a cold day, taking a walk. Lovely! I rather like the idea of an outerwear contest, I'm a big fan of coats, it shouldn't be hard too find inspiration for that particular theme! I'll definitely give it a try.

Hooray! Yes, please enter, the more the merrier! And yeah. Mustard yellow is my weakness. Even though I LOVE orange, all things mustard are in my dreams because I keep seeing it everywhere!

Perhaps this weekend I can squeeze in a little time to make an entry. I already have an idea for a coat I want to design. I know I keep seeing that mustard yellow everywhere too, it's such a happy color.
