Description
"Sakura Fubuki - Urei" (2.5" x 3.5") ACEO in ink & watercolor on bristol vellum (115 lb.). Painted during the Sketch Fest of Feb. 2014 to the prompt, "Storm of Petals". To me, there is only one kind of "storm of petals" and that's of the cherry blossom petal variety. The memories of these are kind of bitter sweet for me, and that always seems to creep into my pieces about cherry blossoms (Unless, of course, I'm just drawing a cherry blossom sprite.
