"Sebastian -Raven Wings-" Final version.

This one is a gift to ~amaterasu08 for the gifting meme from January 2009. June loves devilish bishie with long(ish) hair. Hope you like him with wings I gave him!!!

I think this may be my favorite Sebastian to date. Again, the original inspiration to give him feathery wings came to me when I was watching ep. 9 of the anime when Sebas-chan kept an angel (maybe it was a Nike, I can't remember...) statue from crushing Ciel. Momentarily, the statue's wings rested on him, making him look like an angel. Later, I saw an illustration by the original creator, Toboso Yana, of black winged Sebastian with Ciel (chained to each other).

The rose's subtle shade has been changed from greenish to lavender-greyish. It's supposed to be a (almost dying) Sterling Silver rose -- Ciel's favorite. Researching that was fun. Thanks to all my buddies who helped me out with this trivial information.

Kalafina's "Lacrimosa" played on in a loop in my head the whole time I was putting the finishing touches on this piece. I still hear it whenever I look at this picture of Sebastian. (He seems too happy for that song in this pic though...?)

Took me too long to call him a "doodle". AD is getting rather detailed these days. (Actually, I've wasted tons of time being distracted and squeeing rather than working on or problem solving... or anything of that sort.) This is like 7th Sebastian pic since mid February. I still can't say that he's out of my system.

本当は、シルバーのナイフとフォークだけじゃなくて、こういう感じの翼で、飛翔して戦って欲しい。
絶対、似合うと思います。

実際こんな姿で現われられたら、ヒョイヒョイ地獄でもどこでもついて行きたくなっちゃうと思うんですが・・・ね。*爆*
