Well happy Valentine's day everybody. This picture is for my super cool, and especially preow~, girlfriend =ShiroiKai . Oh yeah internet dating ftwbbq right, so yeah...umm we are dating. Ive always loved her character Ivy even way back when i drew this piece of trash [link] . So i thought what better gift to give her than a picture of her coolest character.This picture took freakin forever, but when you have someone like jessica inspiring you no goal in beyond reach. I did a lot of stuff in this i didnt even know i could do, i worked a lot on depth in this piece. I really tried to give a more 3D look to her, my colors have been really flat thus far, to be fair ive only been working in color a few months. I finally feel like im starting to break through.
Well i wont keep you guys reading too much, so im gonna leave off here. Oh one last thing check out jessica now damnit, she is amazing with color

very cool...I especialy like how her wing comes out of the frame! the motion is great! only the lines I don't like so much..they seem to be a lil crumbled and unsure(dunno how to explain...).

Cripes; that's just some incredible work here. Her pose really shows she's in motion, while the movement of her hair and different position of the wings do well to compliment this. The colouring is simply to-die-for. What a lucky person to get such a piece like this!

Definitely one of your best coloring jobs. I think you could improve it more if you upped the contrast between values a bit more - it's all dark looking now. You've got a little teeny bit of that going on in the hair, but the whole thing could use some more dynamic lighting.

Yeah im slowly but surely getting better with color. I will definitely work more on lighting, ive been practicing a bit but as always i still need more practice. Thanks for the critique, i will take all that into account for my next piece.

Thanks, i really took my time with piece, no rush job here(excluding the background). Yeah she pretty much freaked out when she saw it, so that made me feel all happy.

Thanks, the lines are a little sketchy in places but it was intentional, i think perfect lines are a little too impersonal, i want my lines to have a little of my personality to them.

Thanks, yeah i spent a way long time on this. Im still not sure if i like the wing yet, or the metal ears for that matter, ill just keep designing new things till im happy with them.
