Description
This was a creature concept i came up with back in april when i was on a creature drawing kick. I figure that it primarily lives in swamps, it uses its long slender legs to wade through the sludge. Its set of pelvic arms are used to grasp things and carry them to its lair. The dude is only in there for size comparison. You get a few extra points if you can find the one only picture that this creature is in, in my gallery. Let me know what you think of him. Also, butterfly back.Painter 11: 7 hours

Im actually spending a lot of time trying to decide what field i most want to pursue. I keep coming back to how much i love creature design. I guess all those godzilla and dinosaur movies i watched as a kid had a prolonged effect on my psyche. Im gonna start to get some more of my creature ideas realized.

That's one intense concept! I love it! And your little Prince of Persia guy on the side, hehe. The face and back spine-webs are my favorite parts that came out nice. =]

Whoa, freaked me out the first time I saw it! In a cool kinda' freaky way, you know??? Wouldn't wanna' come across him anytime evar! But, wow, are the hands tiny! I sortof, kind of expected him to have gigantic claws or something, but my mind has always been twisted when it comes to creatures.
I don't think I could give critique, especially considering I'm 15, and I don't think anyone wants any real critiques from a 15 year old. But, ya' know? I could be wrong...
But great job! The details are wonderful, and the shinynesssss is great! Luv teh shineh...<3

Like the anatomy and design of this creature. The use of the hexapede configuration (being that it has six legs/arms instead of being a quadapede with four legs/arms) is rather interesting, although the middle set of legs are quite small, but the reason you put up in the description sound plausible. The design does remind me of a dinosaur, notably a sauropod.
I just noticed it has six eyes, very nice work there, do the eyes have different functions, likewise do they have infared in one set?

Nice image the heads working nicely, you could define the body more though. The front two legs feel as if they need another joint in the lower legs and maybe add some muscle to the back two. The tail could use some texture or something on it not sure what. The human is pretty good he could use some more detail though. Maybe curve that blade a bit more as well. I'm liking the image these are just some ideas to push it farther.

It's pretty neat, i love the head. The body reminds me of Cloverfield, down to the very shape of the rib cage. lol
