It's been done for AGES, and right when I finish it, BANG, DeviantART decides to glitch up and won't let me load ;_;
Did the same thing happen to you guys?
DA being off limits for the past three hours?
Oh well...
Anywho, here is a promotional poster for a new comic I'm planning to make
NO, I ABSOLUTELY WON'T give up on Chakra.
NO, this comic is NOT STARTING STRAIGHT AWAY, I still need to finish the plot first XD
But as you can see, wolves won't be the main characters anymore - A female leopard called Africa will.
The story will focus on Africa's lifestyle as a solitary leopard, her struggles with other predators and her rivarly with the male leopard Chui.
I hope you enjoy the comic, but meanwhile, enjoy this promotional poster^^

Next thing is, the sky looks empty thats a bit strang e ;o; No clouds, no birds and no planes? I agree that the shadows are too soft, especially with that sun
Ohoho, and thanks about the sky too! XD I agree, it's really empty, and you can clearly see the strokes of pencil it was coloured with

Perdon que me meta en esta critica Arven, pero algo que me llama la atencion (vi tus speedpaints) y noto que los colores se ven como "acoplados" o unidos, se nota el degradado y eso (¿O yo vi mal?) pero al escanear, puede ser que pierdas ese maravilloso trabajo. El video que vi fue el de Nadira y Africa y me impresionó el cambio. Pero bueno, tal vez el escaner (a pesar de ser gigante) no puede juntar esos colores. Simplemente tenía esa duda. No sé si hice bien en publicarlo aquí, cualquier cosa borralo XD.

Pues, de verdad, lo que se pasa es que la calidad del imagen de la càmara que uso para mi speedpaints es much màs inferior de la de mi escaner, por lo tanto en los videos los colores no aparecen degradados, pero en realidad lo son un poquito XD
El escaner por otra parte, tiene una calidad de imàgen mucho mejor, y muestra hasta los màs pequeños detalles, como los espacios blancos que dejo XDDD

jajaja, no, yo decia lo contarrio XD. Quiero decir, que en papel, el dibujo se ve mejor!! El dibujo tradicional en papel es maravilloso, pero cuando lo escaneas, noto que no hay degradado. Y en el video se ve un trabajo espectacular.... O sea, para mi se ve mucho mejor el dibujo en el video, cuando lo haces a papel. El problema es que cuando lo pasas a modo digital... se ve distinto, sin ese degradado. Se ve mas fuerte y menos difuso.... Ojala se entienda lo que quiero decir. En todo caso, no es algo que importe mucho. Los trabajos te quedan geniales. Solo que el escaner es tan poderoso que tal vez te quita esos detalles hermosos del degradado tan bien hecho que haces con todos esos colores. ^^

how you did the grass, that´s EPIC because of the structure and the white grass... things ^^ in the front are cool.
the fur of the leopard/ cheetah is very good.
the anatomy is MASTER!
i would have been happier if you did the text also traditional because it would fit better to the whole picture.
i would have put more information to this "coming-soon" thing because just a leopard... that doesn´t make interest to the watcher. but maybe that´s the interesting thing..... ^^
how you did the mountains in the background is cool ^^

You wanted a critique, and i shall give you one ^^
Vision: The overall picture is just gorgeous! The light and shading is marvelous and I see no flaws in that. I love the effect you give with making the perspective look as if you are a bug on the ground looking at your beautiful character! The mountains are gorgeous in the background and the fading looks great! The grass looks great, how it covers her paws and over distance makes it harder to see her front paws. I love the sun and the color and the deepening of it away from the sun and how you can just slightly see the rays of the sun. But one thing is, if it is possible for you to just blend the sky the tiniest bit then it would look like the rest of the poster ^^

Okay. First of all, this caught my eye--which means your preview accomplished your goal. The font is skilfully combined with the image. The background doesn't detract at all from the focus. It is simple enough to not be distracting but detailed enough to fit.
As for the anatomy, this is pretty awesome. I always find drawing from angles like these pretty hard. However, you managed to draw her in a tricky position without it looking weird. In fact, it's very well done. Nice job on that!
Love the tail.
The lighting fits well. One tip for that--the shadows should be tinted. Not just grey. Usually, natural light creates blue or brown shadows. The highlights naturally would usually be light yellow, but the white works for the glare and the way you set up the light.
Honestly, I don't see how I can give you less than 5s though.
Can't wait to see what comes of this! Love your art!
