Description
The some stations of St. Petersburg's underground has a metal doors on the platform. When the train is coming, they are opens along with the train's doors. By official version, this protects from flood and had saved a money due to station's design.
But there have a legend, that during the construction of these stations workers began to disappear. People went to the tunnel, and afterwards only chewed bones and tools has been founds.
The officials hid this from public and the armored doors has been built.

It was about 50 years ago. Who knows, what now exists in the deep tunnels.
