The woman favored by the goddess entered the ayakashi village with caution, not quite knowing what to do as the demons crowded around her. Yukinojo led his partner into the yukibito district and hoped she would be welcomed. Knowing of his past human lover, Anna knew she had to create as much charm as possible to convince them she would never leave their clan leader.

To symbolize this, she even asked some of the ayakashi women if she could wear their traditional garments. The women were elated by her request, since they wanted to help the future bride of their clan leader and, more selfishly, revel in the demon seducing aura around her. The happier they made the human, the sweeter the euphoria. They fashioned a winter kimono just for her, since her body was not meant for their freezing climate, and even created matching accessories that mirrored the ones she arrived with.
