Thoughts about the Character:

I thought Katarina would be an obstinate woman who had a harsh upbringing and so believes that the ends justify the means. Katarina was not always alone but it's a fact that she always had to provide for herself because even if she had friends and even family close-by, their society would ingrain in everyone the idea that to each it's own and you had to take care of yourself first and foremost. So it didn't matter if you have one or thousand or none to call your friend, in the end, you could only depend on yourself.

Katarina became a bounty hunter and her specialty is a poisonous dagger, the poison is there not to kill her victims but to paralyze or make them unconscious as the rewards for "brought alive" is usually better than when you go back with only the head of the target shoved inside your bag.
