In which we finally discover the whereabouts of the girls: they were out of town, on vacation, (Picture the appropriate big city of your choice. New York. London. Paris. Tokyo. Whatever you want.)OR
In which, if you want a happy ending for the zombie arc, cue credits here.
Yep. The girls were out of town, completely safe from the zombies. And now the guys have got the situation under control, but not cleaned up enough that the girls won't know what they've been up to.
Don't worry. Now that they're back, the guys will fight even harder. This should all be concluded in time for tea.
Erik and Christine belong to Leroux and Webber.
Jareth and Sarah belong to Henson, Lucas, Bowie and Connelly.
Norrington belongs to Disney, Bruckheimer, and Davenport.
Javert belongs to Hugo, Boublil, Schonberg, and Kretzmer.
Legolas belongs to Tolkien.
Dresden and Bob belong to Butcher.
Tallahassee belongs to Wernick, Reese, and Harrelson.
Ash belongs to Raimi, Spiegel, Raimi and Campbell.

Yes! It's a fictional work from cartoonist Ronald Searle and very funny.
They also made comedy films based on it from Black and White to Colors...but the cartoons are the best.
The work is supposed to be the the antithesis of the Enid Blyton or Angela Brazil-type posh girls' boarding school. And it started in 1941

And what I mean by the most recent one is the two recent movies, although our beloved David Tennant, Russeld Brand and Rupert Everett as Head Mistress brings the laughs to otherwise stereotypical movie.

I adored this arc. I adored the caught-in-the-act, deer-in-the-headlights looks on all the boys' faces. And I adored your droopy zombies. I enjoyed the whole thing immensely (especially Woody Harrelson and Bruce Campbell).

Jamie's "not impressed" face in that second-to-last panel is sheer gold. Ah, how much more smoothly things would have progressed with the girls there to referee discussions.
I have to say, this is one of my favorite pages of all time when it comes to shading. Something about it here just works, giving it this amazingly slick look. I loves it. So very much.
