Still messing around with the whole no-lines thing...and still trying to find some inspiration in this time of...repeats.
No refs, critiques are always welcome.
1/16/07 Edit: Fixed up the collar and made minor changes to his face...
3/13/07 Edit...again: Moved to scraps. Couldn't look at it anymore

But I figured scraps was the medium between having to suffer looking at it...and having to suffer knowing that so many people had already seen it. Not that that makes sense or anything.

Don't let age get to you guys though. Take advantage of it so when your older you don't have to look back and wish (in this case, drawing) that you had practiced more or studied more techniques/anatomy.

i love it but call me crazy or old fashioned or the worst speller or whatever...but i LIKE lines. well, i like my stuff with lines cause thats the only thing i can do. lead lines. it's a problem but you manage it great.

Don't get me wrong, I like looking at other people's lines and I love the whole dynamic-ness to it...but I just dont like cleaning them up and coloring inside of them. Like painting is fun, drawing is fun...but painting a drawing ehh not so much...unless your going for that sketchy textured painting kinda thing. That's cool too.

Really nice! I am still too uncomfortable with a painterly style in Photoshop to dare do anything without a line.
Did you mean to have his collar one side higher than the other?
And if I was to nitpick- if the light source was slightly above him, maybe put slightly more shadow under his nose, and not just around the nostrils.

Im still too impatient to work with any lines in photoshop, especially when they have to be clean
I meant for the collar to be higher on one side too, but I just found out that it doesn't look good...just lopsided. Haha
Oh and nitpick it to death if you want too, any type of crits are helpful.
