i love it... i love the teeth it makes her look like a monster-type sea creature
and the lighting you did is amazing i think she looks absolutely amazing <3

this is amazing! I love it because its so unique and lets be honest, she's a sea dweller troll queen. She's not suppose to look exactly like a human and I believe that you did exactly that! Well done! it looks more canon this way

I don't think it was a bad decision. She just looks a bit creepy, and I think that fits amazingly in this style!  Not bad decision, awesome decision.

I can't believe people were telling you this is WRONG, it's so obviously a freaky stylistic choice. The direction of the eyes even compliment it... Actually, I just wish you'd pushed it FURTHER. And this might have looked way freakier if she were more centered.

I like it. I like it a lot. I don't even like Homestuck but I'm gonna favorite this so. Kinda a big deal.

This picture looks fantastic and even after reading comments like “her face looks stretched” it doesn’t change the fact that this is an amazing picture! Making her face like that only adds your own spin or twist to what you think a troll would look like! Your view on Fef doesn’t need to be the same as everyone else’s and that’s what being an artist is about. I personally like what you’ve done with this picture and wouldn’t want it any other way! ♥

i was thinking about the "looks kind of stretched" thing but i actually thought it looked cooler... like an actual fish like creature and when you say she is meant to look monstruous that just adds to it : D

I Think this may be the most amazing realistic drawing of Feferi i have ever seen.
Her face is stretched out but i think that makes it more realistic mermaids and seadwellers dont have simple faces as we do, they have long ears that do resemble fins, it helps them swim.

The artwork on this is very beautiful as well elegant with a hint of deranged creepyness and TO YOU I SAY GOOD JOB <3 <3 <3 (no really though this is awesome i was staring at it for like 10 whole minutes fangirling over how good it looks)

I agree with Yinsho, the painting is lovely and I really like the style but I think you need to define the edges of the face more because the gills look like they're a part of her cheeks. Her eyelashes, on the other hand, are FAB!

Um....I'm not trying to be insulting or anything. :c
But her face looks a little...stretched out, like that...
The fins start closer to the back of the jaw...here they kind of seem like they're stretched off from the front of the face, outward and backwards from the mouth.

I think all you'd need to do to make it look better is to edit the edges of the face so we see her cheeks infront of the fins, instead of being like a smooth transition from one to the other.
