Description again, my hummingbird made of sugar.

This is where my Sugar Rose came into play.

As per all other submissions today, very little editing.

I made this hummingbird with sugar on a black surface. It was shot outside sometime after 2:00pm, while the sun was still bright.

This is my favourite piece from the day.

it's perfect: this is so creative and beautiful! the rose has the perfect shape and the hummingbird is at the right place.
the sugar on the sides makes me feel like the hummingbird is trying to get as much pollen as it can

Thank you for leaving such a nice comment. This is my favourite from the two as well. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do at the time of, so I tried a few variations. Sometimes once you see it outside of a camera lens you can readily decide which composition suits best.
