Jack: She'd been traveling through fires all day, her shifts getting sloppier and sloppier as she went. It was late in the day, or earlier in the morning, though she didn't really know, and she was getting tired. It made it harder for her. She happened to switch through one candle, and ended up in some soot-ridden tavern's fireplace, a long burn gripping around her wrists. She pitched out of the flame, landing on her hands and knees, cussing up a storm. "Sweet Mudder o' Globbin' Goblin's Left Switched Harlot! That stings!"

Whybie:He sat in soot-ridden tavern's darkest corner, which seemed to turn even darker and dustier by his presence as he leaned backwards on his seat, balancing himself while raising his legs over tables corner as he raised big looking pint over his head, squinting his eyes as he tried to see was there anything left. Sadly there wasn't. Man coughed which made small ball of ash and smoke escape in the air, which was quite stuffy already. " Ma'am! One more of these! " Man raised his voice, just enough so that older looking lady would hear his order, and as he got quick nod as an answer, man put down his pint, just before fireplace started crackling, and before he knew it, a person jumped out of it. With raspy and loud yell, man lost his balance and crashed down , which was pretty much piped down by this loud storm, which this new arrival caused. Man mumbled quietly and raised his hat as he took a good glance at this new arrival. " Blimey, Ma'am, come quick and bring something with you, we have a damaged space jumper here " Man added as he raised up and slowly walked closer at her.

Jack: She rocked back onto her knees and favored her wrist, seething through her teeth as she shook out her hand a bit. "Mudder o' Pearl and Bob's Ends to a Mannish Man's Arse!" Groaning, she took the cooling rag from the old woman, but otherwise shooed her away, not one for attention, even if she'd caught a few eyes. She groaned, rubbing her eyes with her non-burnt hand, and suddenly looked up into the man's eyes. She jumped a bit, confused as to why he was approaching. "Odds, why in crisis' name is ya staring at? It's just a burn, fella." She pulled her cap down a bit, whether or not to act like a girl or boy, as her androgynous nature often confused people on her gender. Then she noticed the soot and smoke. "'Ey, are ya made of soot, man? That's odd."

Wybie:Man raised his brows as girl let out some interesting sounding groan and shooed this old lady away, which was rather shame cause he actually came quite well along with her, cause she didn't rant about the fact that he kept bringing dust and ash everywhere he went, like others did. Man frowned his mouth a little, as he watched how this old lady walked away, and he had to admit, it was a wise decision, this girl seemed feisty as hell. He turned his eyes back towards her, as she jumped and stared at him. Man raised his hands, palms open. " Whoa there, buddy, I won't bite. " Man tried to calm her down as he waved his arms a little. " I was just simply little curious since you made quite entrance. " Man added as he tilted his head wondering why this person in front of him was in such feisty mood, thought her comment made him burst in tragicomic laughter. " Yeah, people say that a lot, and i mean a lot , a lot. " Man admitted with crooked smile as he rubbed his neck a little until he squatted down on her level. " But back in the matter, are you okay? You landed quite roughly. " Man added as he wiped some dust from his cheek. *

Jack: "This?" She asked, raising her hand and showing off her burn. "Part o' tha business. Ain't too much. The fall's a tricky thing, an' I'm kinda tired, and the jumpin's worse when ya concentratin's off." With a huff, she rummaged into her mail back and pulled out a some wrappings, putting it around the burn. "'Ell, that's a new 'un to the collection." She hopped up and nearly toppled over as a result, her legs near buckling with exhaustion. Thankfully, she caught the nearest chair, and--laughing strainedly--straightened herself up and sat in it, rolling her head a bit and stretching. "No need to worry 'bout me. And the soot's no problem, it's part of the package of ya, right? Actually, I'm cool wi' it anyway, soot and ashes and smoke all go with the fire in me!"

Wybie:Man had to admit that this space jumper here, took this whole thing quite lightly, but it seemed like she had been used to this sort of things, so man didn't say anything against it as he watched how she dig up her bag and pulled out some wrapping supplies. Yeah, certainly used to these sort of things. As she started raising up, man raised with him, and jolted lightly as he noticed that she was almost about to fall over. He reached out his hands." Whoa, take it easy " Man added quickly, but she managed to keep herself up, thanks to the chair, which made man sigh with relief as he took nearest bench and sat down, backside front, one leg on next to it from other side, and another from the other as he leaned forward and crossed his arms top of the back and laid his chin against them. " Huh.. " Man hummed lightly as he tilted his head and sniffed lightly as he wiped his nose to his sleeve and placed his chin top of his arms again. " You are one of the rare cases who actually thinks like that " Man added as he tilted his head and thought about what he just heard. After tiny while, man coughed, with small could of dust, and tried to wipe his hand on his shaggy coat with rather bad result and reached it then forward for shake. " Name is Wybie. "

Jack: "Jack," She grabbed his hand and gave him a firm shake, her own fingers riddled with dust and soot, some patches looked even previously burnt, the surface smooth there. Taking her hand back after, she ran it across her bangs, pursing her lips as she kicked her feet up onto the table and got comfy. "Wybie, heh? That's a weird 'un. Unique. And it got's a ring to it." She waved the woman from before over and asked for three plates of mutton and some cider, thanking her and paying up front, unlike most customers. "Er... Okay, so mah full name's Jack B. Nimble. Thought ya should know the whole thing. It's a liability thin'."

Wybie:Man shook her hand, also with firm shake, until he then pulled his hand back, and crossed them under his chin, as he watched how she took more comfortable position on her seat. Jack, eh? Man tried his best to make sure that he would remember that name, thought her entrance was probably the last thing he would easily forget.Man chuckled lightly for his thoughts as he grabbed his hat, took it off, and ruffled his messy hair lightly surprised expression on his face. " Unique? " Man repeated as he placed his hat back on his head. " Well that's new, usually people start making witty comments about it " Man added wit crooked grin as he wiped side of his nose, and as this space jumper ordered some food and drink, man remembered his pint, which he had ordered earlier, but luckily this old lady seemed to remember it too, so he was more than happy when he noticed that she also brought that with her. Man nodded as mark of gratitude, as he took short sip from his drink and turned his eyes over his pint at her. " Jack B.Nimble?.. " Man repeated as he lowered his pint and wiped his chin to his sleeve, until tiny smile raised on his face. " That's actually quite nice name " Man added with tiny smile, as he then took good gulp from his drink and placed it then on table next to him, letting out long and good sigh and shrugged a little. " Thought there is no need to be so formal, at least with me I guess. " Man added and grinned lightly.

Jack: She thanked the woman as she was brought her three plates and drink, and then tore off a mouthful of mutton, gnawing on it happily as she dug in, sparing no time to manners as she gulped down the cider with it. Halfway done with the second plate in record time, she wiped her mouth on her handkerchief and looked up again. "I'll remember that. As for the wise cracks, I was gunna say 'Wybie? Sounds like Whiney!', but thought better of it." She grinned and laughed at her own joke. Suddenly she sneezed, going cross eyed as sparks and smoke flared from her nose. Making a face, she rubbed her nose and shook her head. "Bless me!" She took another bite of mutton, looking thoughtful. "So what're ya doin' in a place like this?"

Wybie:Man tilted his head lightly as he watched how Jack started emptying her plate, no, plates. And he had to admit, that was some respectable time record indeed, and she sure seemed to have a quite appetite. As she raised her head up again, man snapped out of his thoughts as he sniffed a little with light shrug. " Well, that one I have heard before " Man admitted with slow nod, as he chuckled lightly. He didn't really take those things seriously anymore, also he didn't really care what others thought about him, he just wanted to live his life as he pleased, nothing more. As Jack suddenly sneezed man jolted and leaned backwards a little. " Blimey, Bless you indeed! " Man added with laughter which calmed down into chuckle as he leaned forward again as he tried to reach out for his pint, mans hand stopped in middle of the air, when he was just about to grab it when he heard Jack's question. " Me..? " Man started with confused tone in his voice as he then frowned his mouth in more or less deep thoughts. " Uh.. nothing much really, I just found this place while I was travelling and well, I decided to stay cause I heard that this place has the best drinks in this area. " Man added with chuckle, but he didn't notice how this old lady walked closer, smiling warm but also a bit mischievous smile. " Now now, Wybie, tell the truth. " Woman started as she shook her finger while wiping tables surface next to them. Wybie jolted and took quick glance at her. " Ma-am.. " Man started, but he didn't like expression on this lady's face as she seemed like she was thinking about something. " Oh yes, I found this poor man while he was unconscious, laying on the ground just in front of our door. Poor thing was so starved--.. " Lady started with warm, and yet amused tone in her voice. Wybie sighed and frowned his face as he rubbed his neck while clearing his throat with loud cough, making yet again small dust ball on the air. As he glanced at the fireplace. " Uh.. well yes you could put it like that too. " Man added, but then this old lady decided to continue. " He also works as chimneysweeper, thought he brings more ash than this old thing. " She added with warm smile, as he patted old fireplace with her hand. Wybie cleared his throat yet again and glanced at her, with warning expression. " I think that's enough, don't you agree? " Man added quickly and took good long sip from his drink while hiding most of his face behind the pint.

Wybie:Just when he was about to think that he was off the hook, it seemed that this lady story telling had caught her interest. And as she piped up with her question, Wybie snorted and as a result was about to choke on his drink. He coughed while mumbling something about old ladies who can't keep their mouth shut. Wybie placed his drink back on the table, as he wiped his face on his sleeve, getting more dust on his face as a result. " Uh well.. " Man started and took quick glance at this lady, who already had turned towards other client like nothing had happened. Man made a deep sigh as he leaned his elbow against the chair, and placed his cheek against his open palm. " There's nothing much to tell, as I said, I'm travelling man. " Man started and wiped his nose with his other hand and glanced at her. " I just.. got lost.. kind of.. And as I finally reached this town.. I collapsed.. " Man added occasionally mumbling with lower tone. He had his ego to protect after all, and it was embarrassing to admit that he had bad homing instinct, like, really bad one. Man sighed lightly yet again, as he reached his hand and took short sip from his drink, until he started staring at the bottom of his pint. " I'm also was cast out. " Man added, as he gulped rest of his drink. " I was part of the fire kingdom once, but I was more like.. trash in there, shame for their eyes so, they casted me out, and after that I have been wandering from place to another, mostly people keep finding me, starving and laying on the ground. " Man finally added with tragicomic laughter. Well, what did he have to lose anyway? Nothing. He didn't even know why he was telling all this, but there wasn't really anything to hide anyway, so why not.

Jack: "Well, ain't they a bunch o' dolts, the lot of them up in tha' fire kin'om. If they lost a guy like ya just for bein' who ya are, then it's they're loss." She nodded and finished off the last bit of mutton, chugging the rest of the cider she had and reclining back in her seat, leaning back so the chair tipped back. She was thoughtful, her eyes--much like embers, bright and alive--drifting over to the fire, where she turned an idea in her head. She wasn't one to offer strangers gifts-- that was Mama G-- she had been thinking about this topic before... She needed a partner. Someone who could pass through shadows easily enough and go undetected in the dark, whereas she could glow with her fiery hair. She looked up, straight into his eyes, and said, "Ever think of work? To do somethin'?"

Wybie:Man shrugged lightly with low laughter, as he glanced at his pint and gestured to old lady to bring another one as he then turned towards Jack again. " Oh well, I don't regret anything, actually, maybe it's even better this way " Man added with wider grin as he took more comfy position on his seat, just in time as the old lady brought his drink and took empty pint with her. Man sipped quietly his drink, with more calm pace than before, enjoying his drink. He glanced at her couple times, but didn't have the guts to interrupt her, since she seemed to be deep in her thoughts, but when she snapped out of it, man raised his brows, since she seemed like she had figured out something big. " Work? " Man repeated, his pint middle of the way to his mouth. " Uh.. well.. yeah I guess " Man added as he shrugged lightly and tilted his head. " But people don't really care workers who mess places up, so.. " He added and took gulp from his drink " It's sometimes quite hard to find one, except chimney sweeper. " Man added with tiny laughter as he wiped his dusty cheek while looking at her. " Why do you ask? "

Jack: She bit on her thumb nail, thoughtful as she switch to sitting backwards in the chair, leaning on the back of it like he did, her attention sharp. "I need a partner-- my 'line of work' is a tricky thin', and bein' bright as I am, not always the easiest. Ya're a darker sort, and that soot could be useful in many occasions." Scratching the band-aid on her cheek, she sat up a bit, tapping her lip this time. "I dun mind a mess, heck-- I eat like a starved wooberjack." Grinning she took out a piece of charcoal and a note pad, writing down a charge amount and some things. "I can pay ya too. There's a good line o' money in this lot."

Wybie:Man watched at her, staying quiet as he listened while looking little bit confused by her sudden burst of attention. "Partner!?" Man repeated but piped down as she continued. Man frowned his brows a little as he looked at her, listening, mouth a bit open, pint still middle way to his mouth. He tried to form some sort of words, response, but he just stared at her for a moment, until he finally shook his head for sake to get his thoughts in order and waved his hand a little. " Uh, wait a second, hold your horses, let's just put these things a side for a moment.. " Man started as he placed his pint on table next to him, and sat up. " 'Line of work' 'tricky thin?' ..What exactly is your job? Doesn't sound like just some ordinary day job to me. " Man added with confused tone and frown as he tilted his head. At first he had thought that she was messenger of some sort, that bag, cap and all, but more she talked about it, more he started questioning his thoughts. Thought when she mentioned about the many, he couldn't help the little spark of curiosity that lightened up inside of him. Well, at least he was pretty sure that it would be much more exciting than working as chimney sweeper.

Jack: "By line o' work, I'm talkin' about bein' a messanger-- and a bit more. Shucks, I kinda look like an everyday mail-man, but I also table in the interests of infiltration and spyin'," she explained, hushing her tone down so only he could hear her, as she toyed with the new bandage on her wrist. She brushed a hand over her fiery bangs, pulling her cap down a bit more. "It's a tough line o' work, I ain't gonna lie, but it's a fun thin' do to and it gives ya a lot o' world experience. I've been needin' someone to 'elp me for a while, and on account of ya bein' much like me in a sense, it seems fit to ask ya. The pay is good, but the adventure and thrill is better. You should think 'bout it."

Wybie:Oh, so she was messenger after all? Well, she sure was more than people could think by her appearance. " Sp--!? " Man started, but then understood to pipe down following her example as he quieted down as she spoke with hushing tone. " ..Spying..?! " He finally repeated with hushing tone also, as he looked at her, eyes wide open, and mouth too, while letting out tiny gasping 'wow' sound. Sure he had heard about things, but.. Actual spy? Messenger spy? Thought when he thought about it, her ability was indeed handy when it came across job like that. Man piped down, staring at her, thoughtful expression on his face, nodding slowly as he listened. Think about it she says, huh?. Man leaned forward, crossing his arms in his thoughts. Well, if the pay was good, why not. Also, what else could man ask for than adventures and thrills? Now he could get that all, just simply accepting this offering. He had to admit that he started liking this messenger a lot already. " Hmm~ " Man hummed over dramatically as he frowned his face, struggled on his seat, but couldn't help as wide grin raised on his face as he coughed letting small could of dust in the air as he offered his dusty hand for some sort 'sealing the contract-handshake'. " I would be a fool, if I would turn down offering like that. " Man finally started with laughter and grin. " Count me in. "

Jack: Her eyes lit up even more, and she clasped his hand and shook once, affirming. "Sparks be me! I was hopin' you'd accept. Yer a perfect fit for the job!" Chuckling, she sat back and patted her bag, saying, "There's official documents to sign, but those can be for later. If you don't have a room here already, I'll buy us adjoining suites and we can talk more there about this subject." On that note, she tipped her hat to him, finishing off the cider she'd gotten and asking for another. "Ya won't regret it-- I'll make sure ya won't. Ya might regret some of the dangers, but those're expected and, granted, very easy to deal with." She pointed at the fire. "Get used to being near heat, is my suggestion. Unless ya travel through smoke and ash like I do fire, I'll be the one tugging you through from flame to flame. Not the safest either, but it's the quickest and sliest."

Wybie:Man grinned widely as he shook her hand, until he pulled his hand back, and crossed them again under his chin, as he leaned forward filled with excitement and curiosity. " Don't know about the fitting, but as long some mess is okay, I won't say no. " Man added as he shrugged lightly, tiny grin staying on his face. Well, any job would easily beat the one working as chimney sweeper, not that he had anything against it, but still. As she patted her bag man nodded as mark of understanding and smiled lightly. " That sounds like a good idea, I have been staying on the attic when I arrived here, working with the chimney, but it sure would be nice to sleep on proper bed. " Man added as she started talking about renting rooms. " Part of the job I guess, the danger I mean. " He continued as she talked about the dangers of the job. To be honest, he was actually more excited than afraid or nervous. " Also, heat is no problem, I can stand heat quite easily, so no worries with that. " Man added with wide grin. He was from fire kingdom after all. " Thought I can't move trough smoke and ash. " He finally admitted and shook his head with tiny crooked smile, but then frowned with tiny worry. " What exactly it feels like, to jump from fire to another? " Man then added a bit worrying, but also curious tone in his voice, worrying mostly that could it cause some sort travel sickness, or would he lose limb or two by accident. Well, at least she was still in one piece, except some bruises and burns, but still.

Jack: "There's no one way to describe it, I suppose," she said, mulling it over thoughtfully. "Think about jumpin' into a pond from far up. Ya shoot through it, right? That's what it's like, just with fire. And my natur'l magic will protect us, it's just that sometimes if ya go in a little nuts, and ya flail? Well, ya get a burn or two and it marks ya, but so wat?" She smiled, a goofy smile that was sheepish and kind. "A propa' bed it is, then." She got up, took out a small coin purse, and walked over to the bar where the lady was waiting on more people. With a small conversation, Jack plopped three large gold coins into the woman's hand and received the keys to two rooms. Nodding her thanks and paying for another cider, she strolled back over to Wybie, tossing him one of the keys. "I set us up for two nights-- I have a feelin' I'm gonna need to stay in the area-- and the rooms are best they have here. Com'on." She turned and headed up the stairway in back, moving up to the second level of rooms. She passed to the last two suites that were side by side, and opened the one closest to the end of the hall stepping in. "Come in my room before ya head into your's. We'll finish the formalities 'ere."

Wybie: Man nodded slowly, as he carefully listened, observing this information that he just heard, until he let out low chuckle but piped down. So, it was pretty much like jumping into pond full of flames, just fire instead of water, right?... It didn't sound so tempting, but it sounded exciting as hell, and since fire wasn't really a problem for him, he shrugged his thoughts off, and of course there was this protecting magic, which she mentioned. " Ookay, I think I understood. Tiny burns and bruises, got it, no biggie. " Man added with another slow nod and grinned widely, as he coughed a little, with tiny dust cloud and wiped side of his nose, sniffing quietly, lightening up as she mentioned about the proper beds, but controlled his excitement and instead of it he smiled widely and nodded. After all, he had spent his nights in barns and such, of course there wasn't really anything wrong with it, sleeping under the stars and such, but some people didn't like tramps sleeping in their barns or hay stacks. It wasn't really that nice to wake up in that feeling when someone was holding a pitchfork on your throat. He watched quietly as she grabbed her purse and walked towards the bar as he then started thinking what kind of a mess he had got himself into this time, thought soon he shrugged lightly to his thoughts, well it's not like he had anything to lose anyway and in the end, he was actually excited about this whole thing, which made him grin a little, but was soon snapped out of his thoughts as she came back, and tossed him the key, which he grabbed and hold for tiny moment, as he then placed it carefully inside of his jacket. ".. You know, regular room could have been just fine. " Man added with low chuckle as he raised up and followed her, tossing couple coins for the old lady, for the drinks which he drank, and then followed her to the staircase and to the second level. Man glanced around shrugging a little. This place wasn't so bad, it was actually quite comfy. Soon man was snapped out of his thoughts yet again as he raised his head, and saw how this girl was holding her rooms door open, man stared at her for tiny while, blinked and finally nodded couple times. " Ah, of course. " Man added with goofy smile as he entered her room, looking around, he hadn't really stayed places like this before. Man sat down nearest bench he could find and took comfy position. " So, about these formalities? " Man added curious tone in his voice as he grabbed his hat and placed it on his lap, which didn't really improve his 'formality' cause he was still all messy with his shaggy hair and all.

Jack: "Hold on." Backing up a bit, she ran forward and flopped onto the bed, burying her face into a pillow and groaning with relief. "Sweet Mother o' Flame, this bed is oooooooooh so good..." Lying there for a good minute, she hopped up into a sitting position and twisting her back, cracking the joints that often built up on her. "Mah back neve' feels so good excep' in a bed. Crouchin' should be a sin, the way it messes up one's back like it does." She scootched to the edge of the bed, opening up her pack and grabbing a large envelope. "Neve' thought I'd need these, ya know?" She opened the end and took out a stack of papers. "This is jus' a bunch of paper sayin' that I'm responsible if ya get hurt, and I'm gonna give ya 30 percent-- if not more, or extra-- for the first few months, until it bumps up five percent every year." She scratched the back of her head, flipping through it herself. "In detail, it's just a bunch of things I have to do for ya, what I'm in charge of, risks, etc etc. If it ever comes up, I'm more 'han likely to tell ya upfront." She handed the papers over, grabbing a needle pen. "Ya have to prick yaself with this, then sign. It's a magic thing, not my own. I've signed somethin' similar, and it ain't more than a bindin' thin' that don't come up much." She shrugged again, shuffling in her bag for something, then pulling out a pin. "This ya tag on your shirt, or if need be, hide in a pocket. It's my symbol so people know who I am." The pin itself was an insignia, a letter with a flame as a seal.

Wybie: Man couldn't help but grin as he watched how she flopped onto the bed, also tiny laughter escaped from him as she groaned, which he tried to control into low chuckle besides his grin, which faded a little as he listened how her back made couple nasty sounding cracking sounds. " Ow." Man mumbled quietly as he sneered a little. That must hurt. Sure he knew the sweet pain when back was killing you and the relieving stretching and such, but that cracking sound, it wasn't human. " I must agree with you about that " Man added as she mentioned about the crouching, and then leaned forward as she grabbed her envelope. " Well, things happen. To be honest I didn't really think about ending up a chimney sweeper either, or laying unconscious in front of a pub door for that matter. " Man added as he shrugged with tragicomic laughter " Or ending up from a chimney sweeper to messenger's helper. " He added as he took the papers which she was offering to him. He glanced at them couple times, turned couple pages while wiping side of his nose whit low humming voice. " These look fine to me " Man finally mentioned as he raised his head and looked at her, while she was holding this.. needle pen? Man stared at it for tiny moment, then looked back at her, and then again at the pen and yet again at her until he shrugged and wiped his hands on sides of his pants and took it from her. " Sting, eh ? " Man added and examined this pen thing a little, until he reached out his hand and stick himself with it. It's all or nothing, he repeated in his mind, as he signed the paper, and then handed them over to her, sniffing a little as he rubbed back of his head while she dug up some sort.. Pin? Man glanced at it and rubbed under his nose. " Some sort ID thing? " Man added and nodded slowly. " Okay, Sounds reasonable. "

Jack: She took the papers and put them back, sealing the envelope closed and shoving it back into her bag. "ID, yes. It's also a useful device. See that flame on it? When ya wear it, it'll shimmer just a tad-- that means I'm nearby in case we split up. When the letter glows, that means we have a new message or request ta do." She shrugged off her bag and set it under her pillows, itching her cheek and playing with the rim of her cap. "I'll teach ya some of tha hand signs and motions that'll get ya through a bit of trouble. We'll need to get ya a bag like mine. I'll ask Mama G for somethin' charmed so we can stay in touch..." She hit her forehead, grinning. "That's another thing. Most times when I ain't workin', I stay with the Caravan Train hosted by that Gypsy, Mama G. I have my own cart there, and ya'll probably stay with me there most times." Getting up, she stretched some more, arms strained above her. "Ya can go to ya room now. Don't worry if ya mess it up with ya soot, I can pay for anything."

Wybie:Man nodded slowly couple times as he listened. " Ooh, well that's just handy. " Man added as he explained about this pin.. device thing. He sure hadn't seen those before, or anything like that for that matter. He hummed lightly, as he raised his hand to his chin, nodding slowly as he tried to assimilate this information which he just had heard, but when she started talking about teaching, man raised his head again, listening carefully, nodding as mark of agreement. " Hand signs and motions, right. " Man added and nodded with tiny grin, which faded a little as she mentioned about the bag and Mama G. " Mama G? " Man repeated, but quickly got answer to his question as she started talking about the caravan and about this gypsy woman. Man nodded slowly, his mouth barely open. With her? So the fact she actually hired him she also planned he would stay with her at the caravan camp? This made him quiet for tiny while as he thought about it and rubbed side of his head. Oh well, time would show how that would turn out. " That.. sounds rather nice. " Man added quickly as he smiled widely, for sake of hiding his wondering thoughts and raised up, stretching a little too, letting out low laughter. " If you keep that attitude up, you will be broke in no time. " Man added with crooked smile as he placed his hat back on his head and walked towards the door. " If you need me or anything, just.. slam the wall or something, shout maybe? " Man added as he opened the door, saluted soldier-ish style until he closed the door behind him, and headed to his door, while digging up his key, until he finally opened his door, and closed it behind him, clanging around the room, his room, which made him feel little weird, after all those barns and fields. With tiny chukle he took of his jacket, revealing black shaded, shaggy turtleneck sweater. He tossed his jacket on the bed, and throw himself on it too. Rolling to his back, hands reached out from side to side, staring at the ceiling. " Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into. " Man mumbled lightly, as he wiped under his nose, as he piped down, listening the silence of the room, which didn't say too long cause of sudden wheeze and sneeze, which was followed by tiny sniff and mumbling voice.

Jack: "Hardly. Rich people play plenty for their tidbits of info!"She called after him, chuckling as she heard him get situated in her room. She left her door open in case of emergency-- if she had to run out and dive into the fire downstairs if a call came in where she was needed nearby.
Meanwhile, in her own room, Jack went around lighting the room and writing a letter, which she huffed a small flame onto and sent through the light of the candle, to the Gypsy woman. She rang the room bell for a warm bath, and within the hour, one was set. Sending out a message and another few letters, she finished her work for the night and undressed, leaving her to her decently curved female figure, untying the bindings on her developed bosom. Taking off her cap, her fiery hair tumbled down to her thighs. Mumbling something about girly hair she wished she could cut, she went to the open bath in her room, reaching a toe in to test the water.
Jack didn't like things cold, not one bit. And unfortunenately for her, she'd left the bath to sit for a bit too long, allowing the water in it to cool drastically. She yelped, flailing back and landing on the ground sharply. "Holy Handfuls of Globbin' Icicles!"

Wybie:As he had hit the bed, he had fallen a sleep faster than he thought, and so the time had passed, also more than he had planned, which he had spent just by laying there where he had landed, snoring a little, but only lightly. With low mumble he finally rolled on his side, looking for more comfortable position. It sure felt so good to sleep on proper bed, without racing about hay stack with horses and such, and more importantly, all the softness. Thought this didn't stay for long, as he was waken up would loud racket from the next door, which made him jolt as he opened his eyes wide open and with low yell he rolled around, on the wrong side as he fell of, landing on the floor, but as he noticed from where those noises were coming from, he was soon back on his feet as he ran to his door, pulled it open, or more likely, slammed it open, dashed to hall, to next door, and without reasonable thinking crabbed the handle, and opened the door wide open with a slam, gasping a little as he still was a bit startled and half a sleep. " Jack what happ----!? " Man shouted, but piped down really fast as he actually noticed where he had gotten himself into, this surely wasn't good time for him to storm in, but he couldn't think straight as he just stood there, mouth open. Was this really the same Jack who he had met before? " I-I-I-I.. " Man started, stumbling over his words, as the truth finally struck him. " Whoah! Oh, Okay! Um. I'm Sorry! I, Okay, Okay Okay I just.. I didn't se--.. Uh, I'm just gonna.. " Man tried to explain, gesturing with his hands like crazy as he finally turned around, and dashed to the aisle and slammed the door behind him, leaning his back against the door. Staring blankly in front of him. Unable to decide should he hide in his room, or run for his life. " Oh boy.. "

Jack: She had blinked in shock as he appeared in her room, and then blushed and covered herself with her hair, and eventually, a nearby blanket. She face palmed in shame, groaning as he ran out. Quickly, she got to her feet and threw on a robe, tying it tightly around her as she stepped over to the door, still pink in the face, and-- feeling him leaning on the other side-- licked her lips and struggled to talk without a bit of caution and embarrassment to make her voice tremble. "W-Wybie, I got a rob on now... Um..." She gulped a bit, biting her lip. "Sorry ya had to see that, and sorry if I worried ya..." She snorted nervously in trembling laughter, not knowing how to handle this situation.

Wybie:As he was about to lean towards the idea of hiding in his room, he was startled by her voice, behind the door, which he was leaning onto. Man tried to think about something fun or witty to say, but couldn't think of anything, as the sight of her still hounded in his mind and it wouldn't let him be, no matter how hard he tried. He mumbled quietly and pressed his hand against his face as he took couple deep breaths and tried to collect himself together. Until he raised his head and tried to pull wide grin on his face as he pressed his hand against his forehead " I should have k-knocked,right? I was so stupid..Storming in right that " Man added with low chuckle, which he tried to keep cheery toned, but there was still nervous trembling vibe in it. " Uh, Don't feel sorry, I was one that stormed in. " Man added with low trembling chuckle as he piped down. " I.. I think I'm going to grab something to eat, old lady said that she makes the best pies in the whole town, could you believe that " Man tried to change the subject with low laughter as he carefully moved away from the door. " If you need me.. you can find me from downstairs, o-okay? " Man added, standing now face towards the door, as he slowly started backing away. He needed to clear his thoughts, his head, all of it, maybe even his feelings.

Jack: She laughed nervously, nodding, but realizing he couldn't see her, said, "Alright. Don't fall into the fire on the way down." She backed up, blushing radically, before turning and heating up the water with a small fire blast from her hand.

After bathing rather timedly, she got out and got dressed again, tucking all her hair into the cap and binding her chest and hips again, making her look boy-ish as much as possible. She crept out of her room and headed back into the common room, finding Wybie and sitting next to him, trying her hardest not to blush. "You don't have to worry 'bout knocking... It was just the wrong situation at the wrong time, ya know?" She coughed and ordered another warm cider, sitting back in her chair. "At least it's another awkward moment out of our hair, heh..."

Wybie: " I try my best not to! " Man yelled as he contined backing down from the door, until he finally turned around, walking away, slowly, until his footsteps fastened and fastened, until he was almost running the staircase down, stumbling as he went, but luckily not enough for falling over, mumbling as he reached the floor and strolled trough the room collecting couple weird looks as he stormed out of the door where he was greeted with nice, cool evening breeze, which made him take good, deep breath as he leaned next to a wall and slide down along it, crouching down, crossing his fingers, hands against his forehead. " Oh boy " He mumbled quietly, but couldn't stay still as he then raised up, strolling back and forth, his hands on sides of his head, and time to time crossing them against his chest, and then again throwing them recklessly in the air, mumbling as he did it, until he finally started calming down. After all it wasn't anything serious, right? He just happened to storm in on the wrong moment, no harm done, right? just harmless.. tiny accident.. right? It's nothing serious, right? they were friends.. yes.. friends.. so why was he all frustrated like this? " Oh. Boy. " Man repeated again, but this time with deep sigh, pressing his hand together in front of his face. Now he was even confused of his own feelings. This, was no good.

After this whole burst of.. feelings thing, he had finally calmed down, and gotten the courage to return back in side, besides that he actually started feeling a bit cold out there. He had taken the familiar corner place of the room, surrounded by the shadows and dust as he stuffed up some pie which he had ordered along with his pint, in thoughts he stared at the fireplace, and couldn't help but notice that he actually ended up thinking about this certain someone's rather beautiful looking hair, which sometimes crackled up as lively as the fire on the fireplace, and this made him shook his head for sake keeping his thoughts in order, as he grabbed his pint and took a good sip from it, was it second one? He wasn't sure anymore. Soon he was indeed snapped out of his thoughts as he noticed this familiar figure getting down from the staircase, and getting closer, man glanced at her, grinned as mark of greeting and then stuffed some more pie in his mouth, turning his focus into eating as she sat besides him. " Well.. yeah, I guess so. " Man admitted with low laughter as he shrugged a little. " And things happen, right? I mean heck, I have woken up many strange places and stuff like that.. " Man added with laughter, until he noticed that this wasn't really getting them anywhere, so he cleared his throat with low cough, as he handed the plate over. " Care for tasting some? It' really good " Man added with some sort grin as he grabbed his pint.

Jack: "Sure, why not?" She said, taking his fork and shoveling a scoop of pie into her mouth. She crossed her arms and chewed thoughtfully, savouring the flavor, before she swallowed and grinned. "Delish." She licked her lips and sat back, crossing her arms behind her head and reclining. She closed her eyes for a bit, relaxing. She wasn't one to be embarrassed for long, or if she was, she would never show it. She sat back up and rubbed the corner of her eyes, yawning. "I should get some sleep. I don't think we'll need the second night here anymore. Mama sent a message that it's okay to return to the Caravan for now."

Wybie:Man grinned widely as she accepted his offer and tried some of the pie. Meanwhile he just sat there, staring at the fire place time to time, but also took tiny glances at her, while he chew that piece of pie and licked her lips.. Soon he found himself staring at her, just a little too much, and as he noticed that he quickly grinned widely as she shared her opinion about the pie. " I told you, didn't I " Man added and lifted his pint, and gulped down the rest of his drink, burping. " Sorry. " Man added quickly with laughter as he put down his pint, but then turned towards at her, just as she had closed her eyes, hands behind his back. Man gulped a little as he turned his eyes towards the fireplace, which still reminded him about her hair, so he glanced towards another table, which was having some sort card game ongoing, thought as she yawned, man turned his yes back at her, grinning this tiny crooked smile. " You really should, you looked little drained when you fist arrived here. " He added as she mentioned about getting some sleep, but as she mentioned about the Mama and the Caravan, he raised his brows. " Oh in that case then, thought I'm going to miss old lady's pies. " Man added with tiny kidding frown as he grabbed the rest of the pie and gulped them up, until he leaned backwards, petting his stomach.

Jack: "Mama makes good pie too. Even better Ember Cake." She got up, yawning again, and stretched, sighing in relief as her hips cracked pleasantly. "Bed sounds too good. I'll see you in the morning." She saluted him and walked back upstairs, her hands in her pockets as she hopped up each step. She strolled into her room, and plopped down, still leaving her door unlocked, and fell fast into sleep, the light sounds of her breathing slowly descending into a calm slumber.

Wybie:" Ooh, well that sounds really promising, I hope I get a change to have a bite of that. " Man added as she mentioned about the Mama's baked goods. If her food was really that good, well that indeed was something to look forward to. He sat there quietly for tiny moment as she raised up, stretching, and couldn't help but enjoy the view, even thought he hided it up wide wide yawn. " Yeah, sounds like a plan. " Man added as he also saluted back at her, grin on his face, and watched as she hopped the stairs up and then disappeared out of his sight. He let out deep sigh as he leaned even more backwards wiping his face with his hands, mumbling quietly. This indeed was not good. If they really would go to the caravan instead of this place, he would end up sharing cart with her, and he wasn't sure was he happy, or scared of this thought, or his thoughts in general, with another sigh, he leaned forward, crossing his fingers and pressing his hands against his forehead. " All or nothing, I can handle this. " Man mumbled quietly, with tragicomic chuckle as he raised up and headed to staircase and towards his room, but ended up stopping for tiny moment in front of the door before his own. For tiny moment he hesitated and was about to knock, but then pulled his hand back as he listened. It was quiet. Maybe she was already sleeping? With tiny warm smile and low chuckle man headed towards his own room, opened the door and closed it behind him as he entered and finally collapsed on his bed and rolled up on his back, staring the ceiling again, as he closed his eyes and could still see the flaming hair of hers, besides of her.. Man jolted, eyes opening wide open. Man raised his hands against his face and let out tiny groan which he suffocated against his hands, until he finally had courage to lay his hands down, throwing them side to side. " Better get some sleep " He tried to tell himself, not that it would help or anything, as he crawled up, grabbed nearest pillow and yanked a blanked over himself, trying to calm himself down, and after moment or two, after couple reckless position changes, he finally fell a sleep.

Jack: She woke up early the next morning and zapped through her candle light to do something before her new partner woke up, and returned quickly after with a new item in her arms. She walked over and knocked on his door, leaving the package in front of the door, before she walked off to grab some breakfast.

In the package he would get, there was a gray-colored dirt-proof messenger back much like hers, with already-organized sections for his assignments, as well as a small lockpick tool kit and fire-proof arm guards.

Downstairs, Jack asked for a table, some milk, and breakfast loaves, which she had set at the back table for when Wybie got up. She sat in her previous chair and ate her own food, asking for eggs and ham with firebird honey.

Wybie:He wasn't really one of those who wake up early, so while without even knowing how much the time was, he just laid there, breathing peacefully with tiny snoring sound, as he finally rolled on his side, mumbling quietly as the sunlight came trough the window and hit his eyes but refused to wake up, and rolled on his other side while groaning lightly and tried to fall to sleep again, but that didn't happen as he heard knocking from the door, which made him finally open his eyes, squinting them because of the light. " ..what? " Man mumbled quietly with confused tone as he raised up and rubbed back of his head, tilting it a little as he moved on side of his bed. For tiny moment he needed to think where the heck he actually was, but as soon he remembered it he got up, and moved towards the door, grabbing his jacket and his hat while mumbling lightly something about early mornings. " Coming..! " Man finally answered as he had gotten his jacket and hat back on, while yawning widely, as he finally grabbed the doors handle and pulled it open, finding this tiny package instead of someone. Man glanced at the package, and picked it up, and moved it from side to side before actually opening it, rather curious expression on his tired looking face. As he got the package open, he blinked couple times, examining this new messenger back, which apparently was the one which Jack mentioned earlier, did she actually get it for him? In the morning? Tiny smile raised on his face, as he tossed the paper in nearest recycle bin and placed this new bag of his over his shoulder and closed his rooms door behind him, as he finally dashed towards staircase, but stopped for minute in front of second door from his and was about to knock, but as he remembered the package, he was pretty sure that she was already up. " Well, no harm done " Man mumbled as he knocked, waiter for tiny moment, until he shrugged a little and headed towards the staircase again, yawning as he went. As he finally reached down floor, he glanced around and noticed her sitting in the usual place. Man saluted shortly and walked towards her, until he sat down goofy grin on his face. " Oh, you're already up. " Man added with tired chuckle as he gestured for the old lady to bring some coffee, as turned back at her again, and raised this bag of his. " Also, thanks. Found this in front of my door so I guess this was the bag which you mentioned about. " He added with warm smile and patted the bag proudly as he lightened up a little when this old lady brought large coffee cup in front of him, which he grabbed and carefully took tiny sips from it. He had always been sort of slow when it came to waking up properly.

Jack: "No thanks needed. It's a given, ain't it? If I need one, you need one. Simple." She nodded and smiled back, hazy morning grin softer than her more brash flip-of-a-coin grins. The mornings "softened the fire" in her, for the most part because she was tired, so she didn't bother with attitude. "I'll let ya finish eatin' as much as ya can. The Caravan is due south east of here, and it'll take a while to catch up wit' it. Mama and I spoke through the fire-- she said to take our time." She cupped her cider to her mouth, letting the steam warm her even more. She exhaled slowly, sitting there peacefully for the moment, before she sat up and dug into some eggs and ham, which she coated with the firehoney. Between bites, she said, "Hope you're not afraid of -- Walking in some big-bad woods -- There's a bit of those on our way." With a napkin, she brushed away some honey on her cheek, before cupping her head in her palm and staring at the fire. "I'd take us the fast way, but I want to give you some practice at camp before doin' a pretty-far jump like that."

Wybie: Man frowned lightly, but as well little surprised, but didn't say a thing against her, just shrugged lightly. " Well, thanks anyway, it's really nice. " Man added with grin. No thanks needed? Heck, of course he would at least thank her for such a gift. Man glanced at her for tiny moment, looking at this.. more calm, morning side in her, and smiled lightly to his thoughts as she smiled that hazy morning grin of hers. Soon man gestured at the old lady to bring some beacon, eggs and bread and some more coffee, as he then started digging in his food, but soon looked up back at her, as she mentioned about finishing eating and about the caravan. He nodded couple times, cause his mouth was too full for speaking, and after chewing couple times, he finally swallowed, hitting his chest couple times with his fist as the food didn't really want to go down, and grabbed his coffee and took good sip from it and sighed heavily as he placed it down, and tried again. " Hm, sounds like a plan. " Man answered with tiny grin, as he collected piece of beacon on end of his fork, glancing at her and listening carefully about that what she had to say, between her bites. " I don't think that will be a problem, I'm used to travelling by foot anyway, so I think a 'big-bad-woods' wouldn't be a problem either. " Man answered with low chuckle has he collected his mouth full again, until he swallowed again, with tiny shrug. " Also I think it would be a good idea, I'm not sure how my stomach would handle that sort of a jump after this kind of breakfast. " He added with thoughtful frown, as he petted his stomach while grabbing his drink, sipping rest of it as he finally sighed with pleasant tone and put down his empty cup.
