As a unicorn, Rei gets two shapes. This is his second one. That's a type of dragon supposed to live in marshes and shallow water. It can't walk very well, but it can walk, even though it prefers to swim.

I'm not so good at dragon anatomy, and i still have not managed to find the right design for the wing. The way the fingers are implanted on the hand is weird-- the ones that become wing bones i mean. The angle isn't right for them to be fingers. I don't know if I'm going to keep the arm-and-wing fused together, but I need it to be different from my ground dragons. And I'm not sure I like the mane-thingie, but without one he looks weird.

I like the powerful back paws and tail, though. The paws are webbed and with large claws so that he can move faster in shallow water and dig a bit. (obviously he can't dig with his forepaws ;; ) As for he tail, well... think crocodile.

In short, this is not the definitive design, and if you have suggestions on how to make it better, please tell me about it. I want his shape to make sense. I don't want him too heavy and muscular, but I don't want him too graceful and frail either.

...It's so much more difficult to design an original dragon than i thought... @_@
