I'm currently sketching a Team Seven + Sai picture directly on the computer. Mmm, tablet. It's fun, but looooooong, compared to a hand-drawn version. So I got impatient with the lineart and colored part of the sketch.
; The anatomy muse doesn't like me today, so the lineart itself will probably be corrected and adjusted many times before I start the REAL coloring job. But nnngh I just needed to post *something*. x_x

I'm amused at how pissy Sakura looks!
I like the messy feeling in drawings. While a picture can looks neat when it's nicely lined and shaded perfectly, some pictures tend to give a lot of feelings with some messy lines that were drawn on the hair, face, clothing, and such. While it doesn't show the effort of coloring and correct lines, it shows how much thought it put into it over all.
I like how this in-progress pic looks messy, I still look forward to when you post the finished thing!

Yeah, I know what you mean, sketches are often more emotionally intense than clean lines. I'm not going to clean this too much, I don't think.
