Description the mists curl up
through rain soaked streets
while neon glows
on cold bare feet
through shattered dreams
and fists of rage
like splattered ink
on muddy page
he can't recall
a painless night
a restful sleep
a warming light
he presses on
an aimless soul
his choices made
will take their toll
self hate
self loathing
self abuse
self centered thinking
tied this noose
in darkness falling
drifts away
the lonely travelers
judgment day

Thank you very much. I sincerely appreciate that. Comments on my art are always welcome, but comments on my writing mean so much more to me -- because it's me. Thank you again.

the flow kinda bounced around it reminded me of someone dodging through a crowd the way I ended up reading it XD (on the fast animated scroll)

You read poetry on the animated scroll? You lose so much that way. Poetry is meant to be savored and relished. You should try to deduct the cadence of the authors speech. I don't know... ,

I reread it afterwards, it was fast but smooth in the first place, and a lot of the time the people I follow have writing too long for the scroll. I didn't mean bouncy because I was starting and stopping I meant bouncy because of the rhymes used.
