An idea I've got while practicing on my Mario drawings. (To make it close to the official 2D style)

This pic could be a perfect teaser image for a fan game or an hack, which explain the title.

I really want to make a fan game or at least an hack of Super Mario.

My idea here is that the crystal in the image with Mario, has been shattered by an evil force, and the remains pieces gets separated in different areas. Bowser is not responsible of this, and Peach is not kidnapped.

Instead, because of the shatter of the crystal, everyone but Mario has been transformed into statues, even Bowser and his minions, (Jr and Koopalings included)

Mario has to save them all, retrieves all the parts of the crystal, and make an end to the evil being that starts to corrupt all the worlds around...
