There's so much detail, it's amazing, really. All of Dean's li'l scars and the lines of his body are so very cool and intricate. I love that pretty blush you gave Cas because it makes him look all flustered and comfortable at the same time. Thanks so much for this pic.

Honestly, the amount of Dean drawings where his skin is smooth... it boggles the mind. Have people not seen the way he treats himself? Almost as soon as Cas hauls his ass outta the hotbox he's getting thrown into walls and mauled. So yes, ignoring my tangent - much love to the scars and Jensen's ridiculous amount of barely visible freckles.

I know, right? The penultimate episode in season4, where Dean and Sam fight and he gets slammed down on a glass table, and uh, EVERY OTHER EPISODE. Like the Leviathans throw him into metal wheelie things Dx I will always be addicted to scarring him

I know right?! It's like, from a distance - tan skin. From close up, BILLIONS OF FRECKLES ON EVERY AVAILIBLE BIT OF SKIN. The man has freckles in his ears. His ears. If freckles were angel kisses then most of the Host has been at that boy.
ALL THE SCARS. ALL OF THEM. The claws, the bites, the broken glass, the knives, the jagged metal, the BLUNT IMPACTS TO VARIOUS OBJECTS. Compared to him I live wrapped in cottonwool and bubblewrap.

How on earth do you get those amazingly soft lines on the lineart version? Is there some sort of filter you use after drawing the lines?

Haha, it's another one of those "I'm sure there's an easier, more professional way to do it" things, but when I've the lineart finished, I select it all, make a copy of it on a layer above the sketch, set it to multiply and then gaussian blur it a tiiiiny amount!
I bet there's a two second way of doing it on the lineart layer with the layer-properties/outer glow but it only occurred to me there when I started explaining it to you xDD
