First off I would just like to apologise to all those people who want to see illustrator work from me. I'm going to do terragen and illustrator because it seems I just can't keep away from terragen. This particular image just shows my love for terragen and what results it can create. Everything on this image is mine, and when I say everything I mean everything. The clouds were taken a few hours ago out my window(it was sunny then, now it's tipping it down), the apophysis fractals are mine aswell and whereas I might normally use someone elses terrain this is an all water scene which is entirely mine.I did make this a wallpaper in the end for you all to enjoy. How did you get the Apophysis flame to have a transparent background? Is there a function in Apophysis that allows it, or did you spend a lot of attention fixing it up to blend in?

It's really quite easy. It's a white flame with a black background. I then set the layer with the flame on in photoshop to 'screen'. It's a useful blending mode which gets rid of the black bg on images.

Yeah, it's the first time using the fractals, just experiment, I think they worked.

The one thing that really bugs me is how visible the reflections of the clouds on the water is. Perhaps tone it down ALOT or even remove them totally.
