Model- MeThis is an idea that I had yesterday, something quite sudden.
Take a moment to think about what you think this photo means, and then I'll tell you what it means for me.
*I chose to put a mature content filter on this mostly because my bottom is somewhat exposed, and I feel that this photo has an adult meaning behind it.*
There are certain times when I feel like photography comes first in my life, even though there are people that I should always put before it.
It's quite funny to think that sometimes you can be in love with something that isn't even real. A photo is just an image, it can't be touched. Although as in saying that, it has been one of the most realtistic things I've had in my life in a long time.
I think that alot of people can easily identify themselves with this concept. Whether you put your job, a hobby, an object- anything before someone that is extremely important in your life... we know it's not always the best thing.

That's pretty much the idea that I had going. I was basically trying to say that photography has taken over my life. Haha!
The photo is probably a bit grainy because I took this shot with a Sony bridge camera. Not the best ISO settings.

i was listening to bryan adam's 'one night love affair' when i clicked on the link to this photograph, and its funny how i can relate to a lot of things on here on so many level, and how it all strangely fits together with the lyrics to the song itself as well.

Wow, I really like the meaning behind this, and i like the photo.
It's an interesting concept. I often feel that way too, as though my artwork or other things that are important to me in material ways seem to have a larger part in my life than the people who mean the most to me.
As a person who isnt greatly social or dependent, i usually think this is simply because i can trust my art, my books even my guitar. More than i can trust another person.

The fact that you're shunted over suggests that the model is used to having someone else alongside them, so I interpreted absence. The position of the model's body is tense also, with her back to the world.
To me, the camera didn't bear any significance when I looked at it. It's significance was explained in your comment.
Interesting concept, which made me pause and think about it for a bit. And I think the actual photograph is nicely put together. Nice work
