Black Diamond is seen as a tyrant to some gems, but she has never seen anything wrong with her methods. Keeping gems in bubbles when they are "unused" preserves their perfect color and safe from other dangers out there. In Black Diamond's eyes, it is an honor for gems to be bubbled in her throne room. This means they are her main go to for whatever she would need at the time. She hates waiting so this is her fix for the annoying problem of having to warp a specific gem across her plant just to see her. Why would any gem be upset about that?
