(OH MY GOD I JUST CAME ON YOUR PROFILE AND.. OH YOU HAVE THREE NEW DRAWINGS AND I DIDN’T NOTICE IM SO SORRY—-
BUT.. But IT WONT STOP ME IM GONNA COMMENT ON THEM ALLLLLLL)
Listen I KNOW that hair shading is NOT cel shading. There are fades, stoke lines and succh but can I tell you how big of an impact it makes in this?? I know I used to say your characters hairs look so floof, but this.. is like a NEW LEVEL of it. This is just.. it looks like clouds on a skull!!! This is absolutely beautiful and a GREAT reference for many artists who use references! I definitely will look forward to see this new progression in your hair coloring, but of course even if you go back to cel shading I’m STILL LOVE THAT ONE TOO BECAUSE IT LOOKS O CLEAN—THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR QUALITIES oh my god

(One of them was something from a bit ago, but I've been trying to draw more since one of my commissioners gave me permission to draw some more of my own stuff while I'm blocked up because of the pandemic hehehe)
AAAAA THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I really like paint-y looks that some artists have and I wanted to give it a shot with this different type of brush than what I normally use~ It has been a lot of fun to play with and I'm happy that you really like the end effect as well! I will try to actually color with this brush as well, It may be nice!!
a great reference for many artists who use references?! Oh my goodness you flatter me so
