this should show this time. if not, i'm gonna be a tad unhappy...
This is the kiriban I promised some 3 months ago. heh. the only thing i'm particularly unhappy with is the hair with it's highlights. by all means, please tell me how you feel i can improve. just don't point out the lack of shineys....... i almost gave up finishing up this pic more times than i care to count, and i'm mostly pleased with the end result. that said, leave critiques and criticisms on a friendly level, shall we?

heh, yeah, i think you're right... i know a bit more about light and contrast now than when i first did this, though (just a 2nd quarter student). I think i'll try something like tis again, hopefully soon, as that would be sweet......

I think that the blade should be more shiny though and you should do sopmething more interesting in the background, but it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oo COOL

Now that I can actually see it, hehe...
#1 - The sword might have stood out better as a different color. The green against blue doesn't show up as well as the red and yellow.
#2 - I think he needs some legs. (I'm one to talk.) I just keep imagining that he's really short or something 'cause I can't see his legs.

Only thing I would do is the lightsaber-effect by making the interior blade white. Other than that, it's golden.

ok, i'll try some experimentation with that. most of my time was spent trying to make the sabre look right, but even now i'm not especially satisfied with it. thank you for the suggestion!
