History: Born in a humble town in the middle of the forest on Noir Vale, Keiji was the first boy on the family, after a girl, and his coming was celebrated greatly. His father was a traveling merchant, reason why he barely has memories of him, at least until he turned 8. His mother was the person who had to do everything, from raising the children to taking care of the orchard. The key of success was working all together, when the kids were old enough they would take care of certain chores on their own. New children were added to the family and his elder sister, Hatsu had responsible of taking care of her younger siblings while her mother wasn't at home. Keiji supposed to help but never liked to take orders and always hated he had to listen to her sister only because she was one year older. They would fight a lot but only between them, their little siblings were always safe of these siblings quarrels.

When the eevee boy turned eight his father decided he was old enough to join him on his travels so he could learn the business. The kid liked the idea at the beginning but won't stop complaining about everything. Yes, he was a kid and his father would understand he wasn't ready to travel long distances or wouldn't be able to carry too much weight. His social abilities were a disaster too. There are thing that you can develop by training and repetition, sometimes, you have an innate skill to do it, almost as if you were born to do it. Keiji wasn't the case, his father understood immediately that forcing his son on learning the job would be one of the biggest mistake he could ever make.

Not all was lost, the boy might not be born to follow his father's footstep but at least he had learned how to read and seemed to enjoy it, he had a decent calligraphy too and not many were able to write and read on their town, perhaps he could find him a job related to that and found it at the local apothecary. The old shop owner was losing the ability to use his hands for delicated jobs such as writing and needed someone who would transcribe his old scrolls and books to new ones to prevent their lost.

Keiji spent the next years working at te apothecary. When he had nothing left to transcribe, he become more like an assistant of the old man, who was restrained by his age and couldn't do a lot of things without gelp. The eevee could bring some money to home and on their family were quite pleased with his job, thinking that he would become the apprentice of the old man eventually.

One certain day, the old man was acting strange, Keiji was no a fool and knew one things or two that the rest of the town ignored about this man he called master. The man stopped playing fool too and asked him if he could help him with a job. The shop was filled with herbs and flasks and so other tools, nothing out of place. But what many would ignore was what happened at the back of the shop. Yes, more herbs and flasks but their content wasn't for treating wounds, pains or diseases, it was the opposite, to cause all that. The shop itself was all a cover, the old man would make real money by selling his goods to all kind of costumers that we could label as people with bad intentions. A question was made and the teen made a decision.

The true scrolls and books were handed to the youngster to be transcribed, and this time, to be read in details and learn from them, now he was counting with a real master.
It is true that Keiji at this point was old enough to leave home and live on his own, he was almost 15, but when he announced he was leaving the house his mother couldn't believe it. When his father returned, he couldn't believe it either but was happy to see that his boy was already giving his first steps into adulthood. The eevee has lost that link with his family but he still cared for them. If he left the house was because his master warned him that what they were doing might not be accepted by everyone, like the law, and in case that someone would link any of their creations with them, punishment was waiting for them and told him that he would rather drink all the flasks with his creations inside he could before being captured. That warning gave him the idea that being exposed and captured wasn't a option and he didn't want to bring shame to his family.

Ironically, his master proved to be a better teacher than his father, they just didn't make all kind of potions but they also had to sell them. Dealing with a difficult customer might be a test but dealing with members of a ninja clan that you know they could easily kill you if they think you are trying to scam them, it is on a different level.

Years passed and they continued with their business, Keiji was able to replace his master at any moment but didn't make it for respect to him. He was too old, barely could see and had problems to move but kept his mind sharp until the very end.
The last months of life of his master were quite tough. The umbreon nursed him until the very end and tried new formulas and recepies trying to find something to ease his pains but they knew it was unnavoidable. Before leaving, the master left him his shop, talked with their real customers and let them know the young mas was in charge now and could guarantee the same service and quality and as a final gift, tought him how to make the most powerful poison he had on his arsenal, the deadly Toxic.

He lacks charisma, hardly appears in public, but in the town they know him as the young and strange potion master of the old shop.

Personality: He is introverted, serious, distrustful, quiet, lonely, kind, polite, diligent, somewhat boring and curious

Likes: Nature in general, from open plains to dark caves, the quiet of the night, good weather, rare plants and ingredients, homemade food, acquiring new knowledge, polite people.

Dislikes: All kind of verbal threats, the winter, storms, people who use the force instead words, drunkers, bugs in general -not that he is afraid of them but hates bites and stings-

-Since his real work takes place at night and has to keep his cover, Keiji barely sleeps and has bags under his eyes all the time.
