Edit: 10.12.2014I've been not very happy with the result of the blurred background I've created, therefore I tried again and this time it worked out far better. Therefore I uploaded the new and better version.
This one I did during my holidays on RΓΌgen (Ruegen). Two gulls (an adult hering gull on the left and a young great black-backedgul) fighting for some fish one of the tourists has thrown for them. I had to rework the background a bit afterwards because I was too far away to blurr it enough. Otherwise I am very happy with how well I caught the gulls.

Oh, I totally forgot about that, thanks for the reminder. No, it's okay, the name is not exactly uncommon and I did indeed use it as my watermark for a while before I created my personal Logo. I just did not think about that and kept wondering if my name was left somewhere within my account. It never occurred to me to look at the watermark of my photo for the answer.

I love this...the encapsulation of the fight for survival is perfect. Had I got such a shot back when I was "focusing" on gulls(lol) this would have been by gold standard pic!

It was a lucky shot, though I have to say it's not that hard to capture photos of those gulls, because they are so used to humans, they allow you to come quite close before they even think of flying away.
