Now we're talking about Russia before and after the Revolutions which happened back in 1917.
On the drawing, we have the representative of the Russian Emire, Maxim , and the representative of the Soviet Union, Grigoriy "Grisha". The dogs behind them are Grisha's supporters.
So, 1917. was a tough time for the Russian Empire. Their army was losing in many battles, while the folks in the Empire were starving. That's why the workers started a general strike in Saint Petersburg. The emperor sent the army to stop them, but guess what - the army helped the workers! The emperor Nikolai II had to abdicate in February and the Russian Empire collapsed.
Now the Imperial parliament (Duma) was established. The people thought that it is going to make Russia leave World War I, but they were wrong. That's why the bolsheviks (Soviets) started a new revolution in October, and they dominated over Duma. Under the rule of the bolsheviks, Russia left the war, and the countries from the Triple Entente were really angry!
Meanwhile, in the 'dog world' of United Paws, Grisha and his comrades killed Maxim, and the Soviet Union was created in 1924.
Enjoy! ^J^
