Description Well I 'spose this piscture could be interpretted in different ways...

1. It could be a happy, shiny, lovly heart in hand picture, but considering the heart is a real one and not a steriotypical glowing representation, I think you can guess that it's not actually what I was intending.

2. If you've ever heard the song Maschism Tango by Tom Leera, the line "my heart is in your hand...urgh!" may suffice as a valid interpretation

3. Heartless bitch... literal interpretation

4. A gesture of vulnerability or protection (suggested by: )

5. What I was actually trying to get across when drawing this was meant to be a visual representation of pain. You know how some things just hurt? And somtimes they hurt so bad that you feel as though your heart was being ripped out, or failing that you wish that your heart WOULD be ripped out because then the thing that's hurting you wouldn't hurt anymore. Yeah, I'm a little morbid at the moment, family life is a little gloomy, people dieing and what-not.

Anyway, please enjoy and Merry Christmas

Morbid's the word.
It's really good, really detailed, it's a really well done picture. I really like it.
I hope the sadness passes.

Ohh, I like this pic... the detail and realistic-ness is lovely ^^. I interpreted it at first as a gesture of vulnerability or protection but...

Merry Christmas to you too!

I really love the intricacy and detail you put into this work Athena. Your dedication to everything you do is woven within this drawing, drawing forth the emotion.

I never realised you were this amazingly skilled at the visual arts as you are with the musical. The perspective, shading and attention to detail are astounding.

I hope everything starts looking up for you soon.

Don't suicide.

Holes? As in the arteries and veins? Cause I don't remember drawing any stab wounds in it.
... Suicide? What? I'm sad not depressed. It's just that sadness hurts a bit/a lot. Death is sad, watching someone slowly and painfully die in hospital is sadder but killing yourself certainly isn't the answer.

Yes, the arteries and veins.
