Description This photo was shot by a river not too far away from where I live (nice biking distance). Originally, I went there to get some photos of the river itself, but the ducks surprised me by steaming around in a large group. Meeting another photographer (who turned out to be the father of one of my friends ), I joined him photographing the ducks. Luckily for us, a (random) dad and his kid also showed up, providing bread for the birdies. That meant we could get a lot closer to the ducks, and it also meant some more action.

I need more tele than 55mm. 55mm can't be called tele. I want 250-300mm. That'd be a lot nicer to use for photographin' birds.
