Huh, haven't been active at all this month have I? On the contrary, I've worked on quite a few things that just can't be shown yet.So, this is fanart for 's latest chapter for AU K-on fanfic Spiral Dyad9 - Engraved [link]
There are soooo many scenes to draw but in the end, I chose this one. It's meant to be something quick anyways and symbolically, readers of that chapter would know exactly what the title of this picture is about.
Azusa is so adorable this chapter I just have to draw her. Mio is epic, period.
I know Mio's not wearing this outfit and I totally BS'd Azusa's uniform

This is "quick"? Frick man I'm still working on a Spiral artwork from 2 chappies ago and it's still not done (course I haven't been working on it very often, but still...so far taken me 15 hours). Oh talented at drawing people...they make me happeh

Yes, the contest was very moving because it was done in Mio's POV, unlike the others. I really saw the torrents of emotions in that scene and, indeed, it is the best one in the chapter. Finally, Mio spoke unhindered. Finally, the true victim was finally able to expose herself.
Like you, I got a certain chill and then got high when Azusa did what she did on stage, even more so later when Mio just couldn't stop the tears. Truly one of the scenes that will stay with the reader long after he/she read the chapter.
