Sorry I haven't replied sooner, I'm not on this site too often. Yes I have been part of several group shows and am represented by a gallery. I also sell works online. As for sizes, the squares are 36x36 in. and most of the rectangles are 48x36 in. Thanks so much for your support. And keep painting!

I just wanted to share some good news. One of the local Galleries in Knoxville Tn call me the other day and they want me to do 2 large abstract painting for there new store front windows. They just moved and they are going away from traditional Hudson River style to abstract paintings. I am so excited. I hope they will like my work. They want me to use certain colors. I love to paint for my self and it is a little hard for me to paint for someone so please wish me luck and say a little prayer that I will make a beautiful painting that they will love. They want them 80 inches by 50 inches. I just got my stretchers made with the canvas gesso and I am ready to go. They are large so I will be painting outside. I sure hope it does not rain.

I know what you mean about painting for someone else. But I'm sure you can do it. Do you always paint so large? I wish I could but I don't stretch my own canvases & store-bought that size would be expensive. Anyway, best wishes & congrats!

Yes I stretch my canvas. I have learned after I put my canvas onto the stretchers I boil water and I pour the water onto the back side and wait for it to drip thew to the other side. I also pick my canvas up and slash the water all around and this will shrink my canvas than after it is dry I add gesso. I have seen so many artist and they do not shrink there canvas. If it was not for that no way could I ever get it tight enough. I love to paint large and really it is very hard for me to paint small. I have them ready but I am going to start Monday so I will take pics of the different times that I paint. Maybe I can get some good imput from people on here.
