Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the opportunity to shoot an RAF C-17s. You can check my gallery, I've got a lot of C-17 shots in there, but none from the UK.

They're awesome airplanes. It's always a treat to see these guys fly. This aircraft and demo team is based about 5 miles North of where I'm typing from right now, and they fly over the house once or twice a day. It's definitely a treat!

I really envy you, the only military aircraft that passes over my house are the UH-60 Blackhawks and the C-130 Hercules.

Sad thing was, the weather was crap (overcast and heavy rain showers) I was lucky to see it (there is a pic on Heathrow cam).

Our weather has changed in the last 5 years or so, June used to be a settled month, usually warm but not much in the way of rain, recently its been a mixture of blazing hot wall to wall sunshine (1st week), and this the second week , its been mostly cool and wet, next week the Met Office say its going to improve again!
