Well..Here is my new OC by Hetalia.
SCANDINAVIA (female)
Why is Scandinavia -female?
Well...
1. Scandinavia was not country..It is more MOTHERLAND of Denmark, Norway and Sweden
2. I have read that even in Viking's time Scandinavian women were not weak butterflies... They could be warriors too. and among Vikings there were women sometimes
3. As my Rus is man, I have to make Scandinavia as woman.. Because there were close relationships between them, and I am against YAOI.

This OC is very nice, I like that she has traits that balance each other out and that she's realistic. However, I feel that as a character bio, this is quite... How should I put it? ...Lacking. I would reccomend summarizing the history of the Scandanavian region, adding more culture facts, and citing your sources.

It is a part of the Hetalia Canon, Norway and Iceland are brothers. However, Iceland is not Scandinavian, you got that right... But since they are biologicaly related in canon...

I like your OC. It's true that Scandinavia isn't a country but I guess you could say that she is the motherland. Yes it's true that Scandinavian women were quite ferocious, but despite that, most of them would stay at home looking after farms. Personally I would make her a bit taller as I am Asian (we're usually pretty short) and already 170cm (high school) but that's what I think.

Although, what do you mean "against yaoi"...? Also, don't feel the need to explain making the personification female. c: I have mostly Norwegian heritage with a dash of Welsh and Swedish. Gender doesn't matter to us vikings or descendants of ones. Vaginas could be on the battlefield alongside penises or at the village; neither really mattered. Not to say that there was zero sexism, but for that day and age they were pretty fuckin' far ahead. They had about the same rights as women in the 1940s did. Which was literally 1000 years later. Go Vikings!

no.. He did not..Kyivan Rus is Kyivan Rus, Scandinavia is Scandinavia.. Kyivan Rus was born long before Scandinavians began to come to Kyiv. It is proved bt Byzantium and Arabian Chromnics.

You know, I don't even see why you need to explain why Scandinavia is a woman. If someone complains, call them a sexist pig and move on! ;D (Though I don't really understand what you mean when you say you're against yaoi, since that could mean so many different things...)
Seriously, though, I love your version of Scandinavia. Viking women were fierce and it's nice to see some Ancients who are women! I think some people forget that women deserve just as much credit for civilization as men do! So thank you for making such a lovely, mothering, and kickass lady!
Though, I will admit that I'm a bit sad to see Iceland as only a foster son, since he is acknowledged as Norway's little brother...

I think I know. If I remember correctly it was Germanic tribes that traveled north, before the viking period, so if I'm right then Norway, Denmark and Swedens dad got to be Germania...
