It's him again, it's Carlton.Oh remember that time he almost murdered William by just. Hitting him with a pipe? He fully intended to just conk him dead. Attaboy.
I don't think I'm ever getting over the fact that they let him be the one to take down William and put the kids' souls at rest in the Fourth Closet. Like he's my favorite and I love it when he gets screen time so you won't hear me complain about it but it's so funny. Like imagine if Harry Potter got into a really intense argument with Draco about something small and then Neville just walked up with Voldemort's head and they go "Neville!!! How did you do this?!" and Neville was just like "Uuuuuh I hit him with a sword. And he died." I've never seen another book just have its protagonist wander off to fight some villain of the week while the comic relief character has a throwdown with the main antagonist and wins. Like Carlton wasn't even included in the Twisted Ones, but they STILL let him save the day. Congratulations to my favorite boy you are the Big Hero.
