I think this is rather gorgeous, those intricate patterns with the dark rich colors works really really well.

very nicely done. having her face upside down works so well with the masquerade theme. since you (almost) never see people upside down, it's very difficult to recognize someone in this pose without trying to turn the image around. it's an oddly uncomfortable feeling.
the color scheme in this image is beautiful. i love those subtle swirls at the bottom that look like hair, but aren't. the facial markings are beautiful, but in places they look over "burned". a minor flaw.
this is really beautifully conceived and composed. great work.
