Our fluffy story now comes to a tragic end....
And Team Zombie becomes the arguing duo we all love...
So ends the series. awwwww
Now.. Since the story is over... I want to point out the MANY symbolic themes throughout the series. Some obvious, others not so obvious
Love: This story thrives on this one simple theme throughout the story and it functions the plot.
Kakuzu and Hidan's love and respect for eachother.
Hidan's love for Sensei...
Ryuu's love for Celia and Hidan
Celia's pure feelings of love for James....
And Her love for her child
This story represents love in it's most purest and simplest form.
Trust: Ryuu said "The root of all friendship is trust"
this couldn't be more true.
Notice, when Hidan and Kakuzu start not to trust one another, their relationship as friends falls apart, and they get into conflicts.
Friendship: Ryuu had to kill his first friend... Remember, His first friend he said was also a Jashinist... So that means Ryuu-Sensei's friend would be trying to kill Ryuu too. For Ryuu, it was more of a competition to see who kills who first.... and needless to say.... Ryuu won.
Hidan has to kill Kakuzu, but can't bring himself too it.... So instead, he pushes him away as far as he can.... It works.... but it leaves him sad and hollow inside.
A couple of the smaller themes that make this story go more deep then just a Fluff comic: Religion, Diversity, abuse, teen pregnancy, trapped, and sacrifice.
This story is super cute, but very emotionally deep with meaning to everything behind it. You can re-read this story, and notice the deep themes I try to portray in an innocent way, yet it brings attention to the issue.
There was a LOT more too this, you can see. and I'm sure some of you guys are really shocked out there

This is such a sad story, and explores many of the themes Naruto does, such as loneliness, love, and friendship. Hidan's character really struck me, and Kakuzu's transition from a shy little kid with no self-esteem, to a shinobi with no remorse for killing was done very well and a very Naruto-esque fashion. It also didn't help that I was listening to "For Good" from the Wicked Soundtrack when reading this so that ending really hit me.

Thanks so much. This is mostly an AU (alternate universe) story considering Hidan and Kakuzu would of grown up in completely different time periods, but I still like this story despite it's mushyness and I look back on it with fondness.

-sigh- I've stopped crying, but I can't get over the end! It was sooo sad!!!!! I loved it! Now I feel deppressed. But I know what'll make me happy... TEA PARTY WITH RYUU, HIDAN AND KAKUZU!!!! The tea party will definatly bring Hidan and Kakuzu back! I know it!

i finished reading this story in 1 day. its around 3 o clock..... i am crying... this is the first time i cried for something like this. i rarely cry so IT FEELS LIKE MY EYES ARE BLEEDING!!!!! make it stop.... my insides hurt... stupid sad ending... now my shirt has tears on it..... i need a tissue.... we ran out....
